We visited the trek store in Sacramento mid town just before closing to ask a few questions. We apologized for coming in right before closing but the gentleman addressed our questions and suggested that my daughter test drive a bike. We felt bad it was near closing time, but he insisted and didn’t rush the process and told us about the trade in program for kids bikes. And even though we didn’t purchase a bike that night he was very kind and didn’t seem annoyed that we came in towards closing. Ultimately we bought a preowned bike on the Trek website, but that man’s customer service was outstanding. We even called the store when my husband couldn’t put the left pedal on after receiving the bike in the mail and they advised him it was a reverse thread

I absolutely love the fact that I was able to get an extremely good deal on a new, 3 model year old bike, and Trek that is willing to ship it to my home. Not everybody needs a LBS, and I fall into that category. I can tune a derailleur, true a wheel, and bleed hydraulic brakes, so the ship to home program was perfect for me. $70 for shipping is very fair, and the entire process was a breeze.
