That was the first time I've ever been to Fleet Feet and by far the best shoe buying experience I've ever had. Six years ago I had to give up running due to pain from a spine issue, which eventually impaired my ability to walk as well. A year ago, I had major spine surgery to try to help with that. After a very long recovery process, I've had to relearn how to walk properly, increasing my distance every week. My ultimate goal is to be able to run again. After not being able to do this type of exercise for so many years, and now relearning everything, it's been difficult finding the right pair of walking/running shoes. I've tried many types, at different stores, and wasn't finding anything that worked. I finally found Fleet Feet in Portland. I walked in and shared my story and was introduced to Alec. He was the best. He listened to my story, was incredibly patient and nice, took me through more than a few options, and even though it was taking me a long time to figure out what fit and felt best, he never got distracted or made me feel I was taking too much time. And for the first time, I found a pair of walking/running shoes that fit amazingly well, and I couldn't be happier or more appreciative for Alec's help. And I'm so thankful I found Fleet Feet. Thank you Alec. Thank you Fleet Feet. I'm definitely already a loyal customer!

Stopped in just to check to see what recommendations I could get because my feet were killing me. Ashley waited on me,told me steps we were going to take so I told her let's get it done!! She took a scan of my feet, and being 63 years found out some things I did not know!! I got a pair of hokas and things have been FANTASTIC!! Ashley I thank you and my feet thank you.
