I love the community of the Poole ymca. I never arrive without a staff member greeting me. I enjoy the instructional classes. The instructors take their time to talk to me and make me feel comfortable. I have never enjoyed working out in a gym setting until I joined the Poole YMCA!
Friendly, clean environment
Me hace sentir bien, me ayuda en mi salud física y emocional. Pero me gustaría que las clases en la piscina fueran con música, las personas que estamos ahí en su mayoría son mayores de edad de 60 para arriba, Tuve una grata experiencia en YMCA de garner en el verano el entrenador Carlos daba sus clases con música de los 70 y 80s música latina al igual que Shannon en Southwest y era un tiempo muy bueno, me alegraba el día y esperaba volver a las clases con ansias.
Espero consideren mi petición, hablando con otros integrantes en las clases también están de acuerdo.
I love the Poole Family YMCA. The gnats in the bathroom are the only negative in my opinion.
My daughter is always happy when I pick her up. She loves the games and activities. She especially loves the new friends she’s made. Something fun after a long day of school!

I'm a senior getting personal training in the gym. I have never felt uncomfortable there, in fact many of the other people working out are very friendly. Even when it's busy, there is almost always the equipment I need available. The entire facility is clean and in excellent repair. And the price is extremely reasonable. During the summer, two of our grandchildren spent a week with us, and a one week temporary membership for both of them extremely reasonable. I'm so glad I joined the Y.
The facility is clean and well equipped. There are a wide variety of exercise classes. The people at the front desk and the fitness instructors are friendly and welcoming, and there is a community feel to the space.

The facility is always, Front desk staff friendly and usually call you by name as we enter.

1st visit for an aqua fitness class as we usually go to Kraft. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Class and instructor Carlos was top notch

Classes
I really enjoy the facility. The staff is exceptionally friendly. The equipment is in very good shape. (I was recently at another Y in another state and some of the machines had duct-taped cushions or were out of order.) I'm taking the Strength and Balance course. Both instructors are fun and energetic. The only downside when recommending it (a 9 instead of a 10) to others is the lack of an indoor pool. That said, I have taken my granddaughter to the outdoor pools, which she really liked.
The staff! I go to two different ones The Poole staff are much friendlier than the other. I drive past the other one ( .4 miles from my house) to go 17 miles to go to Poole. That should tell you how I feel about Poole!!
The pool! Wish it was heated!
