Friendly, clean, excellent staff, great exercise classes, and modern workout machines. And you've expanded your pickleball times (thank you!) It's become our go-to place for fun. The only thing you lack is an indoor pool, but your outdoor sessions in warmer weather are terrific.
Your opportunities for seniors through your Thrive program are great fun and have made my wife a daily participant. Your latest attraction (Cardio Drumming) is inspired.
I've recently taken advantage of your personal training expertise and, not surprisingly, it features the same excellence and attention to detail that make the rest of the Poole YMCA so special.

Equipment, cleanliness, and politeness of staff members
The childcare is very consistent and staff are kind and engaged with the kids, which makes a big difference for my kids feeling comfortable when I drop them off. I really appreciate how welcoming instructors are to new people and that there are all types of bodies, people and ages that work out.
I like that the lockers rooms and showers are always clean, quiet and comfortable.

The Poole family Y is my one of my favorite places on earth. That staff I love dearly, Ms Nadia, Jeff, Brian, Robin, Noah, Spielman, Ms Kim, McFarland, and others I haven’t mentioned always put a smile on my face when I come there.
The members I love dearly as well, the comradery is second to none. I will highly recommend anyone looking to be part of a culture that is wonderful to be a part of.
All of this is said with me taking aside the fact after work basketball is now being condensed in a fashion where its consequences were not thought out.

From the reception desk ladies to the trainers and other members this isn't like any other Y I've ever gone to for exercise. This is an extended family in the best sense. New equipment, Instructors that change up the class routines so you don't get bored. More abled classmates get equipment for less abled classmates, etc. I regularly bore people encouraging them to join Our Poole FAMILY YMCA. Welcome to the Family.
