Nice people/staff, family friendly, clean, bright spaces, seems more charming and inviting than large YMCA’s. When I’ve been here it as less noisy than other Y's which allows me to relax and focus more mindfully without distractions.
The atmosphere or “vibe” is bright, open, healthy, and welcoming. The people there seem to be interested in health and self improvement, which encourages me to be the same
The kids have a great time at the Y! They LOVE the counselors and that seems to be such a big part of their experience. They really enjoy the games and the ability to pick and choose what they want to do (clinics, etc.). The staff has been amazing all summer - from the weekly communication to the help with questions. A few times our son was not feeling great and just having a tough day and they handled it so well. We love it and we will be back next summer!
Staff are always so kind informative and helpful. I love the fact that the y has something for everyone in my family from the ages of 3 years to 45 years old.
Counselors make the kids feel like family! Great activities, lessons are great, wonderful atmosphere. Kids are safe and happy!

All of the counselors have been great. Skywalker (Noah) allowed Maxwell to participate in Band Camp at Swift Creek Middle School and then attend camp in the afternoon. Sully (Maximus) was so engaging and full of life.
Love the classes, location and staff. Everyone is always welcoming and I always feel better and a sense of accomplishment after a workout!
Everyone is very friendly, staff members have helped my son feel comfortable in a new environment. The whole program is fun and seems very well run.

Very clean, friendly staff, with a good selection of exercise classes and equipment.
The Poole Y changed my life. In my recovery from breast cancer, which included a bi-lateral mastectomy, I found a new community of friends who not only helped me become physically healthy again, but also helped me have how again!
This is a top down phenomenon. Front desk to back office. These people care!!!
The childcare, the energy, the staff! Love front staff especially Kim! She’s amazing!

Great program
I have enjoyed the thrive classes even in the pool
It is safe to walk and cool especially since the weather has been so hot. So Thanks YMCA
Everybody's great. Machines are great. All clean. Terrific.
I love the diversity at Poole Family YMCA. I also love the downstairs gym area that is very spacious. My son and I are members at Kerr and the basketball court is in an awkward area, which makes it too crowded during sports season. We love that Poole offers a variety of sports basketball teams in the summer months. Kerr has not always offered these options for U5.
I feel that the kid basketball team experience is enjoyable however, I get concerned when we have paid over $100.00 for my son to play and there are not enough coaches for the teams. It seems a bit unfair to families who have paid to be told their child’s team doesn’t have a coach. Perhaps, the coaches could be recruited earlier. Also, this year the kid basketball ball season was changed to after the 4th of July through Labor Day, when it was communicated at registration that the season schedule would start earlier and end in August. My son participates in football in the fall beginning in August and the schedule change created an inconvenience.
It is a clean and friendly facility. There are plenty of activities to keep anyone busy, and the exercise machines seem in good repair and up to date.
Having a pool in the summertime is a nice feature.
It would be nice if you built some racquetball courts there as it is a bit of a trip to use them at the other Y facilities.
We like the pool and I really enjoy working out with Laura Taylor, trainer
The facilities and staff are excellent. There is a bit of a fly problem in the showers which is the only issue that prevented me from giving you a 10
My kid comes home tired :D
Inclusion was amazing!!

Love the staff!
