The Montclair YMCA is a clean facility that offers many different exercise activities. There are 2 pools and they also offer many classes. The people are friendly and even the parking is not bad when I go which is usually during the day before the after work crowd. I would recommend this YMCA to anyone.

I love the pool and swimming and find that the schedule suits my needs. I find the community welcoming and enjoy the sauna and cleanliness.
Greeter at the front desk. Expertise of the individual instructors. Facility is older however it is properly maintained and clean.

The YMCA has become a second home for me. The atmosphere is very warm and friendly and I enjoy exercising and meeting new people. The strongest element of the Y is the staff. From the reception area to the trainers to the maintenance-- they. always make me feel welcomed. The building is nicely maintained and the equipment is aways updated,
It is a friendly place. I enjoy the chair exercise class.
The large pool
I like that it's at my child's school, so no need to transport her anywhere else. She always seems to have a great time and I like that she has a chance to develop relationships with children outside her immediate classroom.
The Swim team at Geyer is SUPER. Instructors and managers take a lot of pride in their work.
Josh has been the best swim coach. He really talks to the students and makes sure they understand the lessons.
Some of the other instructors need to communicate and demonstrate more.
We took a pause to do some basketball but will be right back for Stage 3 and on ..
It feels like home and the staff is awesome
Everything! Claire is so wonderful and the class is the perfect speed and progression.
Both of my kids absolutely love their swim lessons at the Y with Claire and her team. They're getting much more comfortable in the water and their swimming skills improve after each season.

In light of the fact that I am a current Board Member, I am probably quite biased. I am rejoining as a member, as I have not been a member for quite some time. However, I have been serving on the Board for a number of years in support of what and who the Y is to this community. I am proud to be a part of this organization as a member and volunteer.
I feel the staff from CEO to entry level serve this community daily, and allow people a safe space for much more than exercising.

I recommended the Y to my Friends and Family. It has everything you need to get in shape and more. It's very clean and the employees are very friendly. I try to get there at least three or four times a week.
Great swimming lessons .
I have been a member for 18 years and can say only good things about this Y. The staff is excellent. The facility is immaculate and the membership fees are very reasonable.

We like it!
Love the Y, but not happy with the decision to reduce the space for workouts and put in a lounge. Disappointing.
