I love the YMCA! It's a magical place like no other. It's truly a community and all are welcome. My only three suggestions are: 1) please enforce the cell phone policy in the women's locker room, 2) please enforce that children and parents direct their young children to the family changing room. It's uncomfortable changing around young children and it's not appropriate yet parents seem to violate this policy on the weekends, and 3) please, fingers crossed, fix the steam room in a sustainable way; it's one of your best features! Great work with the locker rental reinforcement, and updated boxing equipment in the room off the track! Finally, I find all YMCA staff, especially floor staff, to be very welcoming and helpful.

We love the YMCA staff! Everyone is so kind and full of ideas to entertain the kids. Whether playing card games, braiding bracelets or dancing Zumba! I am so glad I signed my daughter up! She never wants me to pick her up to leave early!!
It’s a great experience !! Just wish there was more encouragement to pull out and do some homework. We continue to reinforce to try to do it with friends at aftercare because they are so tired when they come home. Thank you for a wonderful experience !
I like having the bikes in the cardio room. I aldo use rowing machine & elliptical. I like using the weights & machines to strengthen quads, lats, triceps, pectorals and so forth.
I like to do a post-workout stretch using a roller.
My kids enjoy themselves and are well-cared for
The Y offers a wide range of activities and exercises, the people are friendly, the location is well maintained, kept clean, and members are well notified of any interruptions/closures of any feature. And, the cost is reasonable.
Caring staff
The teacher and staff have been wonderful. Its a great community for our daughter and even for us parents.
Access to a variety of classes, even though I mainly register for only one class. The location is convenient for me. I meet new friends and enjoy the camaraderie of being in a group of like-minded Y members.

Swimming pool and Aqua Fit . The instructor "Steve" makes the exercise fun and he cares about everyone that is in his class. The receptionist s are very nice and helpful. The sauna is great!!! The showers are clean and the lockers are big.
We love the YMCA staff and couldn’t feel better about our son’s experience there. He has been there since 3 months of age and is very happy at drop off. Would definitely recommend the ELC to others!

Montclair school age childcare is the best! The staff are professional and caring. You never feel worried when your child is in their care.
