My son said he learned a lot from his time at camp and had fun
My 10 year old daughter loves the Explorers Camp. She talks about it daily. She loves going on field trips twice a week. She loves the crafts and other activities they do on the other days. She feels like her swimming ability has gotten better as well.
My son loved this camp and the counselors were very inspiring to the kids. I loved the positivity poured into them as they sharpen their skills.

The new space feels great! The curriculum is more organized, there’s more space to navigate big groups of kids and bathrooms! Really enjoyed the y this year. Shout out to classroom 15 and 2 stafff! And of course, the kind front desk staff and Rob/Joelle duo!!!

Truly appreciate the excellently maintained facilities from the pools gymnasiums & locker rooms to the warm & friendly atmosphere created by the entire YMCA Park St. & Hospitality team who are so very accommodating, and welcoming every single day.. This Community Recreation Center provides so many opportunities with diverse activities and programs for everything & everyone. Wow. Amazingly Fabulous and lots of Fun🤩.. We all benefit from these centrally located branches with pools, fitness equipment & fantastic time! 🥰 Montclair YMCA is Truly an Inspiring and Remarkably healthy atmosphere! Bravo to all of the YMCA Group Hospitality & Maintenance Staff who provide exceptional & pristine services to keep our locker rooms showers & bathrooms so clean, safe and comfortable. Love being a member at YMCA This YMCA Park Street was the whole reason for me relocating to the beautifully🤩 diverse township of Montclair. Bravo 🙌 & Cheers 🥂
Love the availability of extended hours, enthusiasm of staff. This year our daughter tried a few different camps after doing new discoveries all summer the past two summers. Turns out her 2 weeks at new discoveries were her favorite!!!
Everything, faculties, shower, gym, pool, street and sauna. A clean place, lockers, everything.
I love the Y, the facilities, the location but mostly the people, all helpful and kind, both employees and members like myself.

The staff is wonderful with the kids and they make it a very fun experience. I highly recommend the YMCA for a lot of their activities.
My daughter LOVED this camp! There was so much to do, the counselors were super friendly and made a nervous parent feel at ease. Thank you for keeping her safe and helping her learn. We will definitely be back next year!
My camper loved the activities and the overall structure of the camp. My only ask is that you bring back the implementation of allowing friends attending the camp together be in the same group. This was a big reason why we chose this camp in the first place. I understand it would require more strategic planning and work on your end, but it can be done especially if we are signing up months before the camp begins. We pay a lot of money for this camp and this simple ask should try to be accommodated.

My kids have had a fantastic time so far at New Discoveries. They love the activities and all of the camp counselors.
They are well-staffed so it feels like there are a good amount of counselors that are really there to greet campers and interact with them thoughtfully throughout the day. The activities for every week and theme seem well thought out and everyone is very friendly and enhusiastic.

Camp at the Lake provides my children with the opportunity to spend their summer outdoors in a beautiful environment, no screens in sight & playing with other kids.
I enjoyed that the tryout was prompt and informative. The coach were pleasant, gave precise instructions to the children trying out, and told them what a was expected of them.
We love the Camp at the Lake. Our daughter has the best time there. the waterpark is amazing. We also really enjoyed family day. I wish there were more family day opportunities but I understand the counselors also want the weekends off. Looking forward to coming back next year.

My Medicare Advantage pays for it, and I can walk there. Plus, equipment is top notch and facility and staff are welcoming.
Clean spacious well maintained friendly
Women’s locker rooms, showers, bathroom and two saunas are always clean!
Large pool is a cool but comfortable temperature and chlorine is not too strong.
The exercise equipment is in good condition and clean. Users generally wipe down the equipment after using it.
The senior membership is an excellent price.
Employees are friendly.
