What do you like about your Downtown YMCA experience?

The Downtown location is much less crowded than many of the other branches. The staff is friendly and I feel safe navigating the women's locker rooms and workout spaces.

Poool is beautiful and clean. Staff very helpful. I love that I can have a locker. Friendships are great. Aqua programs are excellent.

Swim classes are convenient and varied. I have made some very good friends at the Y - a very unexpected benefit.

I worked there for 43 and half years and 19 days and been volunteering sense I retired in 2019 and have a proclamation from mayor Ben Walsh of Syracuse naming a day after me December 19th.
