I’m an armed forces veteran, ex deputy sheriff, among other careers. All my life I’ve participated in sports.
So I’m accustomed to the locker room practices. In a way it’s part of my ancient DNA.The comaraderie that my ancestors built. Past down to me. Allows me to enjoy the experience I get from places primarily like the Downtown Y.
The staff at the front desk. They are very personable, helpful when needed and they make you feel welcomed!
I use your pool. It’s very nice.
I usually use the YMCA in Liverpool New York and I don’t drive I take call a bus and I haven’t felt like going to Liverpool just to go swimming, so I decided to try downtown Location and I find it very convenient and the staff are great. Hopefully I can utilize the other equipment.
Please increase the time allotted for lap swimming. Are there any classes for stretching or resistant bands?

I like that it's a total old-school city Y with people like me. The staff is super-friendly and helpful. I always end up smiling when I'm here.

I live downtown and love being able to just walk over. All the essential things I need for a workout are there. I use the pool about once a week too!
The staff is incredibly friendly and willing to help with any issue. It's also not crowded most of the time so one can access the pool easily.
New employee need to go though a dealing with members needs and wants. All employees need to answer the properly here's how the phone should be answered good morning or afternoon or evening this is the downtown ymca Bob speaking how can I help you . All employees need to go through a employee customer service course.
