The people
It's convenient because I work downtown and it's right around the corner from my office.
The activities that are planned, the structured atmosphere, the discipline but also encouragement for good behavior. Kids have a lot of fun there and really enjoy going which is a huge relief to me.
The field trips twice a week is nice for these kids. There’s too many other things going on in Marcellus at the school instead of them being trapped in the cafeteria all the time they get to get out of the building
Our kids have so much fun! They are safe, so well taken care of, and we love the camp y mustang experience for them. I wish they started going sooner!!

The downtown Y has been an integral part of my life for over70 years. I truly believe that it will benefit individuals and families as much as it contributes to benefit me. Community and exercise are essential to positive growth. The downtown Y is where this can take place
I like mostly that the women have their own workout area and the private sauna room away from the men.

The ymca has been a part of my life sense I was 10 years old I love ❤️ it here at the downtown ymca. I spent 43.6 months and 19 days working here from locker room attendant to membership department to front desk I meant a lot of beautiful people doctors police officers to judges to DA the list goes on and on and I worked with great people I would recommend joining the ymca or making the ymca your career it's a great place we are here to help the community I now volunteer have been for over 5 years sense I retired.
The staff and coaches are very friendly and helpful. I enjoy the convenience of having this location close to my home.
i've always love the downtown y - cept for parking - friendly, quiet, peaceful - i only use the pool these days, i used to teach CPR etc down town - and it was fun, and i love the history of the building
when our first child was little, we ate breakfast there pretty often which we considerd a fun treat !
