The downtown YMCA is an older building and past directors have abandoned thier duties. This new directors and board members are on a great track and I feel good about going to this building again!! Great job staff. We appreciate you!!

I like the SYAC area and all of the benefits it provides, including the steam & sauna rooms, multiple shower rooms with towel service, the tv and billiards room.
Easy space for a swim when my home Y not working out. Friendly, helpful staff.
The hardest thing is cost of parking, but the street parking is convenient.

The people and pool
I love the community at the Downtown Y including staff, residents, and my fellow swimmers and workout partners. The facility may be a bit worn, but it's clean and always welcoming. The Y is a big player in our lives!

The staff are amazing! They provide a warm, welcoming, nurturing place for our kids before and after school. I don’t know what we would do without this program!! Amanda, Miss Terri and her team are rockstars.
They have great equipment that I can work out on in a female friendly environment. Swimming pool is great too. It is not crowded at the times that I go.

I use the Downtown Y pool generally once per week. I like it is not crowded in the afternoons when I typically go.
