Great staff, good broad selection
Zion Cyclery has always been a force in NE Illinois cycling. From the BMX races in the late 70s / early 80s to Road, Gravel, Mountain and Fat biking in recent years. They stock the right gear, listen to their customers, have an open shop where customers can see first hand what the mechanics are doing with their bikes. The new owner seems be be picking up where the Daisy family left off and I'm excited for the future of our sport, the scene, and events. Zion Cyclery is the model that all shops should study to survive in this post-Amazon world.
Trek HP has a very intelligent and informative crew, and very helpful with whatever I need as a newer cyclist. They always take the time to answer my questions. They have a great selection of bikes and gear, considering COVID affecting the supply chain.

Outstanding customer service! Ordered a Wahoo Kickr. When they got it in, they installed a 10-speed cassette on it so I could use it with my bike. When it was ready, I brought in my bike and KC set it up in the store and paired it to Zwift on my laptop. Since I was new to the Kickr and Zwift, he explained a lot about the app and using it to ride. Afterwards, he showed me their training room and then I had some questions about possible getting a gravel bike. The amount of great information KC explained to me was awesomely informative. Could not be happier!
very knowledgeable and friendly staff. I feel comfortable asking lots of questions. The staff is very helpful and offers solutions that I don't think of when I have an issue with my bikes.

I was able to locate a Top Fuel with my size at this store online. I called the store and spoke with Ashton and she was able to get the bike assembled for me to try out. The bike was assembled ahead of schedule and I was able to pick it up right away.

The only thing I don't like about Zion Cyclery is that they're so far from my home. lol

As a beginner, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I didnlt feel any negativity when asking "dumb" questions. They were extremely patient.

Several employees went way above and beyond in not only helping me getting my bike into the car, but assessing the proper seat height to use with my trainer. They even assisted in the set-up of my new bicycle trainer right out of the carton! I am most appreciative and impressed with your level of customer care, and helping with something that I would have had trouble figuring out. I will be writing up a nice YELP review for you business as a result.

I would absolutely recommend this store to anyone! Torsten stayed late and took care of my bike purchase when he could've easily closed the store and go home. He was incredibly courteous and knowledgeable about all aspects of the bike and accessories. Can't thank him enough!
