I don't know much about other associations so I don't know that I'd be qualified to say where or what Mainstreet can improve. Overall everyone is very nice. I say 8 because of that fact: I don't know the differences in the associations, so I'm not really qualified to say one is better than another.
New member fee and membership are too high.

I find it very annoying that it is difficult to find a "live person" in a department during the day in essential services, when my job requires a quick answer to a potential legal issue or thorny situation. Vital departments should have at least one person on duty all day to respond quickly to problem situations, everyone should not be at a "meeting" or out of the office at the same time. Thank you!

Over communicated that I was going to miss the Jumpstart class then was charged a late fee. Had to go out of my way to call and get it waived - the association acted like it was my fault rather than acknowledging that I had sent 3 e-mails and tried to call several times. Was very disappointed at the lack of response initially and how the situation was handled.

high fees for realtors, especially new ones getting started. Not sure how you compare to other states, but IL, well we know IL is not in good shape financially.
