I'm not in a position to recommend an MLS service to anyone. Also, I don't think there are other options.
I have a lot of trouble with billing. I can't submit an expense report without an invoice and it takes *at least* 30 days to get a check in the mail after the expense report is submitted. So I either have to pay out of pocket and get reimbursed, which usually creates financial hardship for me, or I would have to pay the $25 late fee myself, as my company would not reimburse that. It takes 2-3 weeks until I'm reimbursed.
Once or twice, years ago, I talked to someone at Mainstreet who was less than helpful and kind of grumpy. She may not even be there anymore, but that kind of stuff sticks with customers.

I think it’s ridiculous that it’s mandatory to join three separate real estate boards. Not sure what the point of any of this is. I would at least like an option to join, as I would never choose to be part of this organization. In summary it seems like this groups benefit is half assed education, lobbying, and layers of oversight and bureaucracy. Besides the MLS over a 12 month period, I don’t use this organization for one thing and frankly find it offensive that I’m forced to pay for something that I don’t want. How was this not a Monopoly?
There is always someone available, the phone is always answered. It's nice to get a person instead of a machine. There are always good educational opportunities as well.
Consistency along with always keeping on the cutting edge of whats needed by todays Realtors and appraisers.
