Live presentations like the Lawlapaloza. The Coffee and Conversations are always so good too! I love this industry and appreciate all the classes/topics offered with options to attend live or by Zoom. Whenever possible, I will do live sessions. I try to review your website weekly to know about upcoming events/classes. Keep 'em coming and thank you for your good work!

This is my 36 years in the Real Estate business; my belief is that I don’t want my clients to know something that I am not aware of! Our job is to guide and hope for the best outcome. I always keep learning! Our association has guided me and taught me to be the best that I can be, through constant Education, Designations and Events.
From my experience our Real Estate forms are the best! They are longer and try to provide all the information that is needed to protect our Brokerage, Sales Agents, Buyers and Sellers.

Forms. I like several forms that other boards offer.
The site is not easy to navigate after the last upgrade.
Unfortunately, Mainstreet's coverage area around Chicago is far too large for there to only be one office. A majority of the classes and events are in Downers Grove which is very challenging for agents South/Southwest. Additionally, other than the MLS access, Forwarn and Sentrilock, I do not use other products and find the tie-in agreement/cost to outweigh the benefits of the membership. Overcharge under deliver value. Lastly, i imagine many agents would agree having a huge fee due during the holiday season is outrageously misguided and is challenging for most agents at best. The board is clearly out of touch with the majority of members and totally disconnected with the financial reality of the average agent.
I'm still learning the benefits and value to this membership.

Would like more in person classes. Teachers are always enthusiastic and enjoy in person learning and networking opportunities. More supplemental local articles /current hot topics/news updates are helpful Supplemental material by local vendors. Ie inspectors/lenders/radon/ insurance agents to help be in the know

as an appraiser you do not offer classes for continuing education for appraisers and only help realtors and we have to pay the same about the only thing to appraisals, and you let Realtors to some to the inspection for the appraisal and they cannot complete the appraisal so is a Hybrid l and we have to believe they did the inspection correct and I have found they did not do the inspection correct and we get 1/2 of money we were getting it totally unfair I have told this to reported to the Appraisal Associates and i found that the Appraisal Associates split from the Real Association because of this
professional, quick. staff know what they are talking about. its really good to work with them. honestly, this the way that government in general should function. If our state, local and federal government operated like mainstreet, a lot of problems would be solved. Mainstreet is great.
Convenient Multiple Office Locations with parking facilities and avoiding traffic issues.
I just find it ridiculous that in an industry where pay fluctuates wildly and business is often tied to seasonality, not only are there no payment options for dues and fees, but if you are even a week late in paying they will shut off your membership. I happened to be out of the country when this bill was due and couldn't pay early due to waiting on a commission check and when I returned to the states my MLS access had been severed. I paid as soon as I was able but I just find the whole thing ridiculous.

To Charge $30 flate fee for few day late paymnet is inhumane. You are here not to help realtor, but for their money. Shame.

Well I was past due because my bank account got all screwed up somebody was stealing my money down south to pay their gas bill I don't know who they are I have no idea and you guys charged me a late fee and you snuck in some other fee so I ended up paying $25 over I want my money back I need the gasoline for my car please but yeah that's what happened

Membership benefits are becoming overshadowed by increasingly burdensome fees, making the value questionable in this market.

Mainstreet Organization of REALTORS offers so many educational events to choose from, in person and on Zoom. It's nice to have the choice and to mix it up rather than do all learning virtually with the added benefit of "no to low" cost to attend. The staff is super helpful and all of them seem to genuinely care about our development and longevity in the industry.
