How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

The massage therapists did not listen to what we wanted. They didn't even look at our notes. I asked for light pressure more than once and it didn't happen. Not even sure why they were trying to crack all of our joints as if they were chiropractors. Over all it was a bad experience.

My boyfriend and I came to Lavida for a couples massage. This was our first couples massage and it was great. I had Carrie and my boyfriend had Heather they did an amazing job for both of us. They were super accommodating and ensured that we were both comfortable. My boyfriend liked it so much that he scheduled his next appointment before we left :) I would highly recommend Lavida and both Carrie and Heather they were great!

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

Well the room wasn’t very cozy. Exposed boards and pipes… If im paying $100 of my hard earned money, the entire experience should be top-shelf… including the atmosphere.
Also the music was terrible. I’ve done dozens of massages and the music sets the mood for relaxation. The music playing had songs that were too upbeat and including one song that was an upbeat jazz song with horns… when I asked the therapist if she could skip the song she said “nope”. I mean…it’s 2024… who can’t skip a song?
I guess the way to make it right would be to give me a free hour massage as a “do-over” cuz at this point I’m already planning to take my money to South Your Soul or some other place for my next one.

Our station started to try different music instead of the soothing spa music we were used to and those songs would take us by surprise. How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

My appointment was 12:15-1:15. I came in late about 5 minutes. It took about 10 minutes or more to actually start the facial. When I was at checkout I realized is only 1:04pm( I asked the ladies at the front). So my facial was less than 30 minutes. The lady that did my facial was very nice but the facial is not an hour and not worth it. You are misleading your customers. I normally go to Ovme, the Hydrofacial is 30 minutes, but they honor the 30 minutes and their products are better than yours. My face is more dry than before I came to you. I have to go to a different place to do it over to hydrate and moisture my face. I told the ladies for tip to be $5, that was the right amount for 20 minutes facial, i am not sure why I am charged $65 after using two massage credits from lavida at Kennesaw. Please explain why. So very disappointed. Thank you

The Signature Hydrafacial treatment is a 30 minute service and by your own comments, we did what we were supposed to do as far as the time for the service as the first few minutes are always about consultation and making sure that we are using the right products for your skin type and condition. The actual length of the treatment will vary based on your skin needs, so it is very possible to have slightly different times of service. As far as the products used, they were all Hydrafacial branded products, so there should not be any difference in the product quality used. Regarding the amount that you paid, the two sessions that you used from Kennesaw did not equal the cost of the service and that is why there was an additional charge. Again, we are very sorry that you were not satisfied and we truly apologize. Duane, Owner

I was gifted a couples massage for my wedding. My husband really liked his massage with Jill and was relaxed and satisfied when she finished. My massage with Wendy was a little less satisfying. I talked to her about neck and head pain. She said she would start at the legs and work her way up. She spent a LOT of time on my back and not much time on my neck. She did no scalp massage and no heated cloth on my forehead. My husband had a heated cloth and he said his neck massage was really good. When Jill told my husband to turn over, then Wendy did shortly after. When Jill told my husband he was done, suddenly Wendy said I was done and didn't even finish massaging my neck on the left side. As we were driving home and discussing our experience, I told my husband the left side of my neck was sore and I felt like she didn't really complete the massage. It hurt for the remainder of the day. I think Wendy needs to brush up on her skills and relating to her customers. It would be nice to be comped for at least half of what I paid (my husband gave her a $20 tip too) and come back for a massage with a more skilled masseuse.

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

I've been a member for 12 years, and had the same therapist for most of that time. When she changed her schedule (which I totally understand), it became hard for me to see her and I had to find another therapist. I'm a Mon-Fri, 8-5 desk worker, so I like to get a massage on Fridays after work. It seems no one competent works then. I've had sessions start late/end early. I've specifically asked for deep pressure/more time on certain areas, only to be ignored. I've asked for something during a massage and the therapist can't hear me because they've got earbuds in (this is unacceptable). As a good tipper, I'm insulted by the signs that tell me that a tip should be 30/40/50% of the price I'm paying. I've raised all of these concerns with the front desk, have asked repeatedly for a call from the owner Deanna, and have never received a call back. The former owner would have never let any of this fly. Perhaps I'll get a call now, and I can cancel my membership.

What could we do to improve?

The facility and the desk staff were nice. My therapist was John, he was nice and professional but I had requested a therapeutic massage and I received a very very light touch massage.
