I do not live in Mystic. I live in Syosset, Long Island, NY; however, I bicycle from here through Mystic, Stonington, Westerly, Misquamicut, and Watch Hill every summer and usually have some reason or another to stop into the Mystic Cycle Centre. Although I find the prices a little steep (perhaps it's just that you only carry higher-end brands than I am used to?) I have always found the staff to be very welcoming and helpful -- even when I've stopped in on my "cheater" e-bike.

For me, Mystic Cycle Centre is about location, location, location. Although the old location was slightly easier to reach on foot from my hotel, the newer shop is still very convenient when I am either passing through or doing one of my daytrips out of Mystic itself. (It's also a great excuse to stop at Mystic Market for a crunchy cauliflower burrito!)

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Good quality products, willing to order items if they don’t have what you need. Vested in the community.

I came down for a stem replacement and Michael jumped on the task and had it properly installed and and finished quickly. He also noticed the kickstand was a little short and extended that. I was in and out with two improvements finished correctly, fast, and cost-effectively. A customer can't ask for much more. Highly appreciated and is the reason I keep recommending MCC and coming back!

I appreciated the immediate response with the bike I brought in. They threw a new chain on shortly after I walked thru the door. The dude that helped was knowledgeable and professional.

The technicians at Mystic are very knowledgeable. We went in to buy tires and the technician gave the bikes a safety overview and discovered that one of the wheels were out of alignment and needed to be trued up.
The bikes now have new tires and ready to roll again.

I made an appointment and my bike was ready for pickup within 36 hours.
