My propane needs are taken care of automatically. I don’t have to keep checking to see when to call. I like getting the email that tells me it’s been filled, and the bill is emailed to me. And then my credit card is automatically charged. We travel a lot so I have no worries about my propane needs with Downeast Energy.

I feel great loyalty to Downeast energy. I have been a consistent customer for 20 years as of next month. I appreciate this company for friendly, excellent service such as many visits to service and fix my furnace, prompt oil delivery, and maybe most of all, the soft touch when it comes to taking some extra time to pay for delivered oil. 90% of the time I pay the balance in full before the due date of the first bill, but there have been a few times over the years when I had to pay incrementally over 3 or 4 paychecks to pay off the balance; I was never hassled, and the late fees were surprisingly low. At those tougher times is when my loyalty to Downeast Energy was cemented. Thank you.

Customer Service is always very nice.
I like having great turn-around time when I call for propane and the ease of paying online, but the price of propane for a small amount is outrageous!!! Just because I use a little amount from May to October, I shouldn't be charged such a higher price per gallon - plus all those extra charges. Is this a Maine thing???

So far I have had a great experience as a Downeast Energy customer, I have had a number of customer service interactions both in person and on the phone. I value the local office the most, it's important to keep a community experience to me. I am not interested in a regional office that does not value the customer, and having locals who can answer questions is important to me.
