Great experience. I was using Tune-Up but their service has gone downhill bad, to the point where you have to ask for the service included. The service is supposed to include a haircut, shampoo, hot towel and a style. They don’t provide it unless you ask and then you have to ask for each one. The stylist always seem put off when you ask. I decided to give y’all a try and am glad I did. The stylist was very personable and friendly and gave me a great experience. Goodbye Tune-Up

I took my son for a haircut, and when I began speaking to Latoya, it was immediately apparent she was in a bad mood. Her attitude and tone of voice were such that I asked to change to a different stylist. Tonya was absolutely wonderful and kind. We were lucky to meet her and will go back just to see her.

I’m a senior citizen and have been using your establishments for years. This past week I received a haircut and asked if they would trim my eye brows and get the mustache hair away from my mouth. I was changed an extra $7.00 for 20 seconds of work. This was the first time I have been charged for this type of request. I am totally appalled at the charges you set, especially for retirees. I will most likely not recommend your establishments and will make sure any one I know thinking of using your business, I will let them know of the high cost!

The barber Katie, gave me a horrible haircut. She did not give me what I asked for and cut too much off. She seemed in a rush and like she didn’t know what she was doing, horrible service

My adult son is autistic and I shared that with Azu when I told her exactly we wanted for his haircut. I asked only for a haircut and I made it clear to Azu that my son is autistic. After his haircut, she gave him a shave, massage, washed his hair (that didn't need it as he had just washed it that morning) and did Heaven knows what else. When I went to pay the bill, it was almost $50! Obviously, I gave no tip and I told her that I specifically asked for a haircut ONLY. I was most irritated; however, my son seemed happy so I let it go. The very NEXT DAY, I get an email saying that they're offering 50% off the very thing she just did that I paid full price for. That really got me irritated so I called the salon and asked for the manager. And there was some hesitation but then someone else got on and said she was the manager. When I asked her what her name was, she hung up on me as if she knew she lied to me. I called the HQ office and asked that someone call me about this incident. No one from the HQ office called, but rather that evening the ACTUAL manager, Thuy Nguyen (per the caller ID), called and told me that Azu had asked my son if he wanted these services and she claimed that Azu said that my son said something about him not able to pay but that his mom pays for everything. I KNOW MY SON!! Just like the charlatans from "Facilitated Communication" method tried to put words into my son's mouth when he was only 3, I knew she was lying because if ANYONE asks him about money, he immediately comes running to me because he doesn't know the difference between $1 and $1M!! When I told Thuy Nguyen that there was no way my son would say that and even asked him while she was on speaker phone with me AND I told her how one of her staff (or it could have even been Azu, I don't know) lied to me and said she was the manager, Thuy kept insisting that I should come into the barber shop the next morning to clear this all up. When I told her I had appointments the next couple of days already and I couldn't come in, she hung up on me!! The next day and the day after that and the day after that, I called the HQ of Sports Clips and never got a response!! I HATE when people lie to my face--especially when they take advantage of a disabled person and lie about it!!! I'll never go back. I honestly was just going to ask for the 50% off that I received in the email that next day as an apology for Azu taking advantage of my son. We had no problems prior to this, but I'll never set foot in a Sports Clip again unless someone FROM HQ office makes this right!! Sorry for the rant, but you asked!!
