Open communication. The girls at this location are always polite and always helpful. Sierra is a great stylist and Genesis is as well. I will always return to this location as long as these girls are there.
The customer service I received today was exceptional, especially by my stylist Keke.

It is specific to the location i recently visited to go get my haircut. The lady didn’t listen to what I was saying when it came to my haircut. I ended up with a haircut I was fond of.

My son had longer hair. He wanted it cut shorter on top and longer in the back. Mabey a modern mullet style. We simply could not convey to the Asian lady that was cutting his hair what we were trying to ask for. We did try to find pictures in the phone but we finally just said forget it and let her do what she wanted. When I got him home I had to fix an aweful lot of longer and shorter spot yi smooth out the look. My wife was very upset and said that lady butchered his head. I had to get her to go back over the lines on the neck as well. Not a good cut overall. She was very nice and had a big smile but very choppy cut. We normally went to the one on 96 and mat go back there from now on. Not happy overall.

Stylist need to not be so pushy in their own opinion when clients ask for a specific cut
For along time I have avoided coming back to SC’s because of the turnover rate of stylist. Everytime I would find one that gave a decent cut they would suddenly disappear. Since 1984 I have been getting a Marine style haircut (High and tight flattop, just a high and tight or a High Fade). Usually I would get a weekly haircut in one of those 3 styles. Maybe in the last 4 or so years I slowed down to once or twice a minth as I allowed my hair to grow and reduced my visits down to once a month and now I have gone 3 or more months in-between haircuts, because I was having to spend 30 or more dollars to get a cut by a new stylist who always acted friendly and chatty and promised me a great haircut and after a shampoo they would fix my hair with some product and hand me a mirror to show me from a distant what looked to be an even clean looking haircut, but once I took a shower the next morning I would struggle to get my hair to just fall into place. I would have to add goobs of some product to try and hide a mostly uneven haircut that I didn’t catch the previous day in the chair. Sometime I could work on it and adjust the problem to not be so out of wack. Being in the Marines I have owned my own set of clippers and other trimmers and shavers as it was a necessity to be able to maintain my preferred grooming style while over seas on a long deployment or while deployed in the Desert fighting our Country’s enemies. Over the years I was able to give myself a High and tight flattop or just a regular High and Tight and I have invested in some costly clippers to assist me in some professional grooming that always passed any grooming inspection from some critical disciplined leaders. Once I retired the problem with the turnover of stylist began. Both in where to get my haircut to who I wanted to cut my hair. It’s always been a struggle especially because as mentioned above I was still trying to spend time and money on a weekly basis. I would Find a good one and sometimes they were there for month's and then suddenly with no warning they were gone. In the last 2 years I actually found a stylist that gave me confidence in her ability’s, that I actually had a conversation in which I expressed my frustration about previous sudden disappearances of a great stylist and I convinced her to promise me if she left she would contact me personally if she was going to interrupt my ability to continue getting an appointment with her. Several months later she whispered to wait in the parking lot after I paid. I left my baseball hat on her counter and after I sat down in my truck she came racing out with aforementioned baseball hat. She handed me a note with her # on it and said to call her the next time I wanted to get a haircut. I did and I ended up at a more expensive place and I was happy to pay it so as to not have to take a chance on another new stylist who was more than likely to give me a cause to pull out my personal clippers and attempt to correct a visible defect. There have been times I had to just cover up with a baseball hat until I could return to the scene of the crime and ask for “The Manager”! All this to say that yesterday’s experience in one of those expiences that I had to do damage control this morning as I was trying to get on the road to make it to Jury Duty (which is why I got my haircut yesterday after not having it cut since the last week of March) from my Home in Pearland all the way to Angleton TX (38 miles on the first day of school so had to leave earlier because of all the school zones I was going to possibly encounter) Can’t be late to Jury duty and on time is late in my military mind! Now as I am on my lunch break I am writing this while eating a cold sandwich with a room full of strangers as my lucky butt is now juror #8 on what could be a week or more trial which I only mention because depending on what time we are released later today I have other responsibilities elsewhere and serious dread of the traffic that awaits me upon release that will likely result in my inability to once again return to the scene of the proverbially butchering that occurred in the 3rd chair on the left hand side of the Sports Clip on Beltway 8 and Pearland Parkway around 4:30 ish on Sunday August 9th 2026. Possibly after lunch and my 12 page essay I am writing to you, I am going to corner the District Attorney of Brazoria County and inquire what legal avenues I can pursue and what the Statue of Limitations are on aforementioned alleged crime of No Passion or maybe a better phrase would be false passion as my stylist did say at one point she would do whatever I asked her to do as I sat in that 3rd chair on the left hand side but yet I had to ask 2 x’s for a hard part to be cut in (this is where she promised with a smile and enthusiasm that my wish is her command, and yet I had to ask 1 final time after she removed my cape thingy that always feels like they are trying to choke me to death on the first attempt to snap that cape around my neck, but always let up just before my PTSD kicks in and I’m suddenly back in Iraq (LOL) I guess this is the long way to say I would like to come back a get a small adjustment of a few hairs but I don’t know if I’ll be able to in the near future because of my Patriotic Pride in what I’m told is my Civic Duty as an American Citizen despite my argument with today’s Supreme Ruler that proudly and kind of gruffly had to remind me of this morning when I politely told him I would rather not be chosen because I felt like I had already given WAY WAY WAY more than most of the other Civically Minded Citizens in this court house today and since August 14th 1965 when I was born into this Great Country called America. At the end of the day I will more than likely resign myself to the fact that’s it’s hair and it will grow back which really isn’t true as evidenced by the large imperfectly shaped circle at the top of my head which is showing more and more skin and less hair so maybe it’s hair and it will grow back isn’t really an absolute truth but more of a figure of speech for my cranium carpet! Now that I have said this with my fingers to you I suddenly find myself distracted by the question “when did this imperfectly shaped circle began to form or better yet where has my cranium carpet gone. I probably will think of this as I sit in chair #8 later today. Anyways that’s my story and I’m sticking to it… Have a Great Day and Thanks for listening. I do not get haircuts often.
This was the most cost effective and best haircut I have had in a while.
I was very plrased with the outcome. I have a longer hair style as well and a beard. I find it hard to find people who can cut hair and trim a beard.

I loved Carmen at the location of Morton Ranch.! She did a great haircut but was also very personable and polite! The store also had a great vibe and positive energy! Well done to this store!

Getting different stylists each time there is an understanding that the haircut will be different, but I get the same basic cut every time. It's in my notes and confirmed each time. Sometimes, the stylists do very well, but when they don't, it sucks. My last visit, 8/9, the stylist rushed the cut, left the fade with a clear, uneven line around my head and the top very uneven. I paid and even tipped but had to go to a different barber to get it fixed.
