The following comments were submitted by our customers when asked to provide feedback on our service. With the location closing at 7pm, I made an appointment online at 6:40, and then I called at 6:45 to see if they would be able to fit me in before closing, or if I should cancel my appointment and reschedule for a day or two later.
I was told on the phone that as long as I made it in before 7, I would be accepted as a customer, and would be able to get my hair cut.
I arrived between 6:50 and 6:55 and was immediately told that the location was now closed and they couldn’t take me. I responded that it was not 7pm yet and that I was told that I would be welcomed as long as I made it in before 7 and that I rushed there to ensure that there would not be an issue. I also apologized for arriving so late and told them that I would have canceled my appointment and rescheduled had they not told me that it was ok as long as I made it in before 7pm.
The lady I spoke with on the phone then walked over to the lady who was telling me that they were already closed and said something to her in Spanish where I couldn’t really hear what was being said, and then told me to go ahead and sit down for my haircut.
Following this, one of the 3 ladies who were still working left because her shift ended, and the lady cutting my hair who had answered the phone and the lady who told me that they were closed whenever I arrived remained, and were both extremely rude to the point where I felt I had done something seriously wrong.
I tried to make small talk with them, I tried to make lighthearted jokes about me arriving so late, and I apologized at least 3 different times for arriving right before they closed, but none of it was good enough, and a sense of awkwardness filled the air while I sat there trying to just get my hair cut, a process that would be over in 10 or 15 minutes.
I was not offered to have my head rinsed off, I was not offered the VIP Package or whatever that comes with a hot towel and all of that, and I was not thanked at the end of everything even though I thanked the ladies not only for my haircut, but also for working me in before they closed.
All of these attempts to remedy the situation on my behalf were all melt with cold stares, silence, and absolute unprofessionalism on their behalf.
I am not the type to complain about these type of things whenever I feel that I’ve been treated unfairly or wronged by retail workers and/or food servers, but I walked out of that SportClips that evening feeling as if I had acted unreasonably by arriving right before they closed at 7 despite being told on the phone minutes earlier that it would be ok as long as I got in before the doors were locked at 7.
I also feel that the haircut I received was completely rushed and below the standards that SportClips operates at.
I will not be returning to that location and there’s a good chance that I will not be returning to any SportClips in the future nor will I be taking my children there to get their hair cut.

This Sport Clips location is my go-to spot for haircuts. I love that they open 9am, so I can get my cut before I start my workday. Marleny is my favorite stylist. She really pays attention to what you want and ensures I am happy with every aspect. She is so polite and friendly. I could not ask for a better haircut for the value.

The MVP service was top notch. The hair wash and the shoulder rub was very relaxing. Made me feel like a MVP for the time that I was there.
I like the on-line check-in system on Sport Clips mobile app. I also like the clean waiting area anchored by a large screen TV. A wide array of hair products are available for purchase. But, what I like most of all about Sport Clips Atascocita is hair stylist Rachel. Rachel is an excellent stylist and would highly recommend her to anyone who wants a great hair cut.

Buzz cut for $25 is really expensive. The wait is longer than the hair cut.
