I visited the Richfield shop about 20 minutes after opening, and there were about 3-4 customers ahead of me, I was very impressed with how calm and professional the staff handled the busy streak without making anyone feel rushed. My bike wasn't shifting correctly and I assumed it would require a small adjustment but actually needed a new chain. The new chain was installed on the spot and I was on my way in about 15 minutes. The experience was impressive.

I've been a loyal Trek rider for over 30 years, so I go to Freewheel to shop for new bikes. I also like the informed opinions and advice that I get from staff, all of whom are serious cyclists and thus know what they're talking about. I've been a customer of Freewheel (previously Penn Cycle) since 2002 and am always satisfied with their sales and service.

Great prices, availability and customer service

I had my Yeti MTB serviced at the Richfield location. It needed front and rear shock service along with all the other yearly checks and maintenance. They had the knowledge and experience to work on the front fork where most shops prefer not to do this service. They did an above and beyond job on the whole bike and were fast in completing it. Everyone was polite and professional. I highly recommend this shop for any service!

I brought my bike in for a wheel repair and Level 2 tuneup. The staff were able to replace a spoke that same day, which allowed me to ride my bike for a week until the tuneup was scheduled, which was great. They replaced the chain, a cable and break pads in addition to the tuneup. All appears to have been done well. My only complaint is that the bike frame hadn’t been cleaned even though the tuneup advertised said everything would be cleaned. There were even greasy fingerprints on it. The staff took the bike back and cleaned it up. It looked much better after that. However, I shouldn’t have had to ask for that in my opinion. Overall, very satisfied with the work.
