Good vibe in the store. Knowledgeable associates.
The team at the Reston Bike Lane is friendly and always helpful. Customer service is top notch. Plus they support and are very involved in the local community - promoting many different causes. I definitely recommend this bike shop!
they did a nice job with my bike fitting and have been responsive to service needs.
I'm a newbie when it comes to MTB, and everyone I spoke with was cool and knowledgeable. It was a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.
Bill and Mark's bike fitting was fantastic!
Always a great experience, great customer service, and quality products.
Expanding in-store product line at competitive prices.
I was greeted properly and felt welcomed!
Didn’t feel any pressure. Staff answered all my questions with a smile. Gave me lots of information and time to make up my mind regarding a bike purchase. Would not hesitate to recommend the Bike Lane.
I brought my bike in mainly for a front derailleur adjustment that I thought would be simple for a mechanic, but I agreed to a standard package of maintenance partly to support this local shop (total price $150ish). I picked up the bike two days later and noticed in 30 seconds that the front derailleur still wasn’t adjusted properly, not even close. So I came back and the adjustment was done right the next day. I ended up having three evenings of my week focused on this issue, and missing a whole week of riding my bike. I concluded that I should try harder to take care of repairs and adjustments on my own. I wish I had a better experience but I couldn’t recommend this shop based on what happened. Everyone seems nice though and they did do the work on the spot when I brought it back the second time.
Quick, knowledgeable, and friendly staff. Have been going for years and have bought several bikes and had services done as well. Always top notch.
Good selection of merchandise and courteous service .
I am a long-time customer of The Bike Lane because it is a high quality bike shop. I encourage you to support this great local business.
Very good and reasonably priced maintenance service.
Helpful sales staff.
I had been to several bike shops trying to figure out the problem with my bike and Tom took one look at it and knew exactly what was wrong. He made several phone calls to find the part and had it shipped and and within a few days my bike was fixed. Everyone in the shop is very knowledgeable and friendly. I have a new bike shop!
Prompt and personalized attention, courteous service. Thanks again for all of your help!
I was very impressed with the personal service and wonderful staff.
This was my first time at your store. I came in for a flat tire to be filled with air and was told that my bike was rusty and could use a tune up for $100.00. I agreed. When I picked my bike back up, it rode nicely, however; it was still rusty. Scratching my head, I let your team know and they took it back for a few minutes and brought it back out. The chain was not as rusty but the gears still were. I walked away thinking I was sold something I did not get. I will be back to try your services again.
Friendly staff knows what they're doing and are happy to help with bike issues.
I felt there was a lack of communication with my work order. I brought my bike in for a rivnut repair on the bottle cage mount on a Friday afternoon. I was told I would be called/emailed about the cost and work by end of day. That did not happen, so I called the next morning when the shop opened to follow up. The gentleman then emailed me the work order and said I was next in queue to get worked on. I was hoping to ride on Sunday, so I called to follow up later in the afternoon (sometime between 3 and 4 I believe) since I had not heard back. I was then told that it could not be worked on until Tuesday. At that point I said I would just come get it so I could ride the following day and get it fixed another time. They said that was fine and to swing by in the morning. At 4:30 that day I got an automated text that said bike was ready for pickup and an email that said the work order was completed. I assumed this was because it was just closed out since I said I would come get it. I came in Sunday upon opening at 11 AM to pickup the bike and the fix had actually been completed and was only $15. The tech even mentioned that it only took about 10-15 minutes.
I completely understand that there is a queue of bikes to be worked and that it doesn't always matter if it is a quick fix. I'd just like to have some realistic expectations set for when my bike is to be looked at/worked on. Everyone was very polite along the way, it was just very discombobulated as a whole. Thanks for accepting feedback!
The place has a great vibe, and while it was obviously very busy when I walked in with my bike, I had three people reach out and ask if I needed help. Great service, very quick, very friendly, and reasonably priced.
Incredibly warm and friendly staff..they are creating a community, not just a store. Not intimidating at all, was even treated to a complimentary trail ride by the owner. The beer is delicious. A very fun way to spend the afternoon.
Great service.

Everything bicycle ! They have such a wide variety of bikes and services. And experience in many different sports. Very friendly
