Elliot listened to what was looking for and helped me food the right model at the right price, and Adam helped me get set up when it came in and recommended some helpful accessories. Went and test drove an e-bike with Todd as my guide, and loved his approach. No hard sell, lots of great info, and a wonderful deal cut on a floor model that had been around awhile, but was still pristine and would still carry a full warranty. I love the vibe of the store, and the selection of riding-related goods. I’ll definitely be coming back often!

Many of the items in the store do not have price tags. I found that frustrating as I was trying to grab a few items and had to keep asking an employee to check the price or was shocked when the item rang up at checkout.

Service department is incredibly friendly and helpful. I’ve found the Green Lizard can be a bit standoffish and elitist but the Bike Lane never makes me feel bad about asking questions and takes the time to explain stuff and just generally be helpful.

If it was just a bike shop I wouldn't stop by often. The fusion of bike shop and brewery/cafe is the magic. Couple that with the proximity to the W&OD, but more importantly Lake Fairfax Bike Trail system and you have a place I want to spend most of my time (if I could). This might be the only establishment where I can say I feel a sense of neighborship with the people who work there, and the regulars. I think the regulars feel the same way too.
I appreciate several aspects of The Bike Lane's products and services. The quality of the bikes themselves is exceptional. The wide range of options caters to all cyclists, from casual riders to serious enthusiasts, making it easy to find the perfect bike for any need.

Got a flat on the W&OD, luckily only feet away from BL so walked in and the guys took care of it right away.
