"WOW" - That's literally the only word I kept repeating after my experience at this store! I am a bike novice but in the spirit of enjoying something in common with my partner, I decided it was time to venture into bike buying. I went on a rainy Saturday after a quick search of stores in the area and wasn't too sure what I was even getting myself into. From the moment I walked in, Mike greeted me and helped to ease that deer-in-the-headlights look I know I had! That day was centered on research, education, and narrowing down to a selection that made sense for my situation and price-point. He took his time, explained all the pros and cons of each option and I left with a confident sense of what I needed. There was never once any pressure to purchase and walking out with my price quote in hand and lots to think over, it was a success. A little over a week later, I returned with my partner in order to finally make a decision and that's where my experience was just beyond the already high expectations set in my first store venture! I don't even have the words to express my gratitude and appreciation of how Marc educated and handled the sale. He walked through all of the information again and I was so excited to land on a Trek Checkpoint ALR 5 AXS Gravel bike that met all my needs plus some. Marc made sure to explain all of the accessory options and prioritize those things that were "must haves" to start and more "come back later" items to help balance the pricing and expectations. He never once rushed or pressured to make a choice and at one point when I was deciding between two options, he very supportively said "grab a coffee, think it over, make the choice that's right for you". Marc explained how even when the bike arrives, there's never any pressure in terms of changing a decision or refunds. Fast forward to picking up the bike (only a few days later!!), it was a seemless and fun experience with Marc once again. He pre-sized the bike perfectly and it was a fabulous time putting on all of the accessories and making sure I had everything I needed. The store automatically submitted the bike registration to Trek and made it as user friendly as possible to ride and go! I can't thank everyone in the store nearly enough for taking the mystery and anxiety out of an intimidating experience for the "bike newbie" - now I excitedly await when I can ride off of the W&OD and grab a coffee one weekend with Marc and Mike while fawning over my new bike!!
As always, I was provided expert and excellent advice along with outstanding service. My favorite bike shop!

The Bike Lane is a little bike store with a mini brewery in it. The employees seem to like what they do and be knowledgeable. Cool spot, I like it!

I love The Bike Lane! This is a family owned store that supports youth programs and really takes care of their customers. Everybody is super friendly and they’re more than happy to help with all your cycling needs.

Staff was very attentive, helpful, offered good suggestions, and was not focused on trying to upsell. You could tell that everyone uses the products and they are riders.
Friendly staff and quick, quality service. They fixed up my kid’s first bike and ensured it was safe for him to ride. I happened to have a work meeting in the same building after I dropped the bike off, and they finished working before my meeting ended. I will definitely be coming back for service and new bikes for the rest of the family!

All the staff I have ever talked to at the bike lane have been extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Most of them have recognized me again after meeting me once. The selection of products available is also above average for bike shops.
