Great place convenient to the W&OD trail and Lake Fairfax trails on the bottom side. Sales, service/repair, rentals, bar (yes food and refreshments)...spent a couple of different days here trying a rental bike out and considering a purchase. Everyone was super helpful.

From my first visit 2 weeks ago I was impressed with the welcome, the technical knowledge of the team and the right balance of helping but not being pushy.
I have a great bike prepared with care and accessories ideal for me, all helped by Marc.
The coffee is good and no doubt we’ll try the beers in the future!

The people. Todd was very helpful on the phone, the guys behind the service counter were great, and the bartender was awesome. It's a feel good place, and always has been.
The staff and bike mechanics are very knowledgeable about all products, and helpful whether it is with a repair or a purchase. They are very responsive to their clients' needs, and they make sure they direct clients to appropriate purchases. I always feel that they listen and work hard to meet my needs as a biker.
I have been a customer for over 10 years. I love how knowledgeable everyone is. Marc Walowac recently helped fit into cycling shoes and he was wonderful!

My order took a longer time than expected to ship- I had to call to inquire and the store associate needed to check if the item was even in stock and once realized it was said would ship asap. Then before the item shipped a call was made to inform it was about to be shipped, but to the wrong address (the billing address).
This was my first experience with The Bike Lane - I had a minor repair done to my antique bike. The employees were nice and helpful. They got the bike repair done quickly and in the time frame they estimated for me.
