Everything was fine with purchasing, but the person working at the store was standoff-ish and rude. My wife came with me and asked about buying a lock - he seemed wholly disinterested in helping her. He was borderline passive aggressive (didn't say anything, but was clearly annoyed that we were asking about the lock).
Your product is much more expensive than ordering online, but we support stores like you because you're local and should be an asset to a community. I'm not sure if that guy was just having a bad day, but we immediately stopped bothering him with our questions, and then bought the same lock from another store 20 minutes later.
We don't need anything from you, but as a business owner myself, I know that I'd want to know if one of my employees was acting like this.

The information that was given by the one gentlemen was great but the one employee was very rude and obnoxious when I had asked a simple question.
The in store sales staff are very rude, particularly the two older guys. Feels like I am bothering them every time I shop there.
Even though I live around the corner, I think I'll be biking further for parts in the future. This has been my observation for years, though a caveat, the maintenance staff have always been friendly and provide exemplary service.

Looks like a great shop, knowledgeable service. Sad we couldn't come in to see what was in the store, but given everything, glad that everyone is being safe. The staff were very helpful in accommodating our request for myself to pick up our recent bike order that my wife had placed under her name with her credit card. The new bike service plan and thr the free fitting of accessories is exceptional peace of mind.
I like that you try to get things done as quickly as possible. I like that your mechanics are happy to answer questions. I like that you don’t upsell extra work on bikes if it’s not necessary.

I love sweet pete's. It's my favourite shop and always my first choice when looking for parts or help. I live in the east end, 10 km away, and would still rather make the trip all the way over to sweet pete's than stop at one of the many shops along the way. I appreciate that you are open and are happy to chat with me and answer the multitude of questions that I have, and that you always go above and beyond to give me advice on products I am interested in.
