I brought my bike in to be serviced. Ben rang me up. I had some questions as it's a new bike. He realized how unfamiliar I was he didn't just answer my questions he took the time to go through my bike and explain all the shock functions and when and how to adjust for different terrain. I ended up purchasing some accessories. Not because he was suggesting that I needed to, But it was because he spent the time with me. That at that point I was able to make a decision to do so myself.. Now this is customer service..

While visiting Bentonville we stopped by Phat Tire to learn more about class 1 mountain ebikes. Basically, we had been led to believe that ebikes were very heavy and did not handle as well as conventional mountain bikes. Our salesperson, Cory, took us directly to the Trek Fuel Exe and gave us a tutorial that completely changed our previous perceptions, and we were eager to try the bike. Phat Tire offers a rental program, so we reserved 2 Fuel Exe 9.8 bikes, rode them the next day on the trails around Bentonville and were thoroughly impressed with the performance and feel of the bikes. To avoid making an expensive impulse buy, we took some time to go over the pros and cons of purchasing two bikes - the pros won, so we returned to Phat Tire the next day and worked with Cory to order 2 TREK Fuel Exe bikes. Again, Cory, went through all options available for the Fuel Exe models and there were no high-pressure sales tactics and choices were completely left up to us. The advantages of adding some of the newer available technology made sense to us, so we ordered 2 TREK Fuel Exe 9.8 GX AXS T Type bikes. We live out of state, but were returning to Bentonville in a month, so there were no problems in waiting for the bikes to arrive. When we returned to the shop to pick up the bikes, we spent time having the bikes fitted to our body weight and height. Cory also spent time going over all the technology with us and was very patient with all of our questions. After riding the bikes for a couple of days, we feel we made the right choices and
really appreciate all the individual attention we received at Phat Tire. Every employee we talked to was knowledgeable and professional. If you are interested in ANY style of bicycle, we highly recommend visiting Phat Tire of Bentonville. We will certainly be promoting the Fuel Exe when we return to Texas. Quality of product and helpful workers
I took my bike to them in the morning and it was ready by lunchtime. They installed my new cushcore and tires. Very happy with the service.
