There is so much to like about IMT. Their product mix is fantastic--top brands across every category (Trek, Gazelle, Patagonia, etc.), and a knowledgeable staff to go with them. During my most recent shopping experience for a new e-mountain bike, I worked directly with Dax (G.M. of the Boise store, I believe), and his counsel was immensely valuable. I came in looking to buy one particular bike, and over the course of the several days, discussions and test rides, Dax fully vetted my use case and helped me gain clarity around what bike attributes really needed to be my priority. In the absence of this, I absolutely would have purchased the wrong bike. Staff was knowledgeable on my Trek bike and specific needs for my wheel repair. Staff was also friendly and welcoming. Service was completed quickly and for a reasonable price.

We recently had an on-site service call for service on a stationary trainer we had bought from Idaho Mountain Touring a year ago. The tech was on time, friendly and checked out the trainer and one other bike I needed click on pedals removed from that were "extremely" tight to get loose. I have always recieved good service in the store also.
I can get the products elsewhere. that's not important to me. The service is what makes the difference. Specifically around technical questions about gear. IMG staff will be honest with me. They won't steer me to their products when there's a better fit for me elsewhere. This kind of honesty keeps me loyal, I really appreciate it. I also like the sock selection.
Excellent service over the 20 years that I have been bringing my skis for tuneup every season. Helpful staff, knowledgeable about Bogus and other mountains, and very friendly. I would go no other place in Boise!

More products showed up and I got a call from Emma who is very helpful and called me and let me know the product was back in and what I like one and then she facilitated a new order . very very, very helpful and unusually helpful .she was great !
