I walked into Idaho Mountain Touring to buy new boots. Even though my boots were well used, Ryan convinced me to let their staff customize the fit. The minimal fee to fit the boots turned out to be just what I needed.
The rest of the story is…after talking with Ryan about my equipment, he showed me a a couple skis & binding combinations that greatly reduce the overall weight of my present set-up for uphill climbing & outperform my current skis on the descent. After researching his recommendations, I returned the following day to make the purchase without having any buyers remorse! I’ll put the skis to test today, & have full confidence the set up will be perfect.

Overall the work completed was great. But person to person communication could be improved, specifically, correct phone number, but having email backup fixed the situation.
