I brought my grandson to the Homewood store to shop for a new bicycle for Christmas, as he had outgrown his current bike. A very friendly young shop employee, Charlie, came over to greet us, talk with us, and quickly engage my grandson in conversation. After determining why we were there and in general what we were looking for, Charlie showed us several bike options in the appropriate size. He took lots of time adjusting the bikes to fit and explaining/demonstrating to the boy how the gearing worked, as my grandson had never ridden a multi-geared bike before. He took several test rides outside the shop on a couple of possible models, looking comfortable with the new size and quickly picking up the concept of shifting gears. Overall, the visit was a very pleasant and enjoyable experience. And, yes, we did buy one of the bikes, and my grandson is eagerly awaiting Christmas.

The Aventon Aventure 2 is a great e-bike, it is way better than what I thought it would be. Went back and purchased another one for my wife. Just had my bike serviced / checked out after 6 months, all of the employees were very professional and answered the questions I asked. I do recommend Cahaba Cycles in Trussville

I was interested in renting a Santa Cruz Hightower. Unfortunately that bike was sold from their fleet, but they did have a Tallboy. The bike was excellent. I rode on two different types of trails. One that flowed amd one that is very chunky, and the bike handled both with no issues. The only thing that is a little disappointing is the fact they have limited options for XL bikes. I had to rent a large frame and it would've been nice to ride the correct frame size for my height. Other than that, the process was very easy.

I came in and worked with Andrew Steele and was very upfront about what I needed and he did not try to sell me a bike on the first trip in. He gave me a lot of new knowledge and something to think about. I ended up coming back later in the week and purchasing a bike and I love it!

My wife and I wanted to purchase bikes for our granddaughters. We did not want to go to a box store because of their low quality and workmanship of their product. We traveled to the Oak Mountain Cahaba Valley Store, we knew that they had several stores and a large inventory we could choose from. The sales staff were very informative about their products and the products actually sold themselves. Andrew Steele was very helpful and knowledgeable of the bikes we bought. Trek Marlin XS 27.5 and a Trek Precaliber 24” both excellent bikes. The shop was very inviting!

Went in with a problem with my Emtb that another shop couldn't fix three different attempts which took weeks. Oak mountain fixed my issue with in hours and back on the trail the next day
