Staff was friendly and seemed purely interested in making sure I got what I needed instead of just selling parts. I went in looking for a bike tune up and wanted them too look at a clicking noise they fixed everything and the bike is so smooth now.
Charging significantly above MSRP for parts, lack of support on warranty, surly mechanics
The people and service at Bicycle Habitat are always top notch. I came in with a flat and was able to be serviced immediately. Lucas worked on my bike, and he was super friendly and knowledgable. I walked my bike 20 mins to BH rather than take it to my local repair shop, and I'll continue to do so. Bicycle Habitat is the absolute best!
The guy who helped me was great. Had a lot of good ideas about my bike. Did a lot for me. Thanks!

Victor was awesome! He listened to me and I feel like he didn’t try to sell me the most expensive bicycle, rather the one that needed now. Also, the process was speedy and the communication was excellent. You all did a great job setting the right expectations upfront and delivering, which seems like 101 stuff but is actually rarely done.
Knowledgeable staff; super helpful; more concerned with getting the fix right than just getting me in and out.
I just love BH. Both the Park Slope store (Libby did my bike fitting a few years back) and the Vanderbilt store too. All the staff are friendly, down to earth and knowledgable.
Excellent service and advice
Very disappointed with the lack of service. I bought a bike and all they did was rush me out the door. No adjustments other than the seat. Told me I need to make an appointment which had a 4 month waiting window.
I am a biking neophyte and really appreciated that I didn't feel talked down to by store personnel, even though I'm sure they usually deal with far more experienced riders who own far fancier bikes! They also talked through the cost and made sure all the charges were transparent to me, and didn't up-sell (which I would have been very susceptible to -- again, biking neophyte here!).

Brian was so knowledgeable and patient! I had my kids with me and a lot to do and he didn’t rush us or pressure us. He knew everything about your products. He also did a tune up to all our bikes. Highly recommend!
