Is a family environment full of activities for all ages.Every member on the front desk is nice and helpful. I love the mind and body ( yoga, Pilates, stretch and much more ) the instructors are amazing young ladies that is a pleasure been in their class.

Aquatics instructors
The YMCA is basically a portal to another dimension of pure greatness. I walked in expecting a gym and instead found the Fountain of Youth hidden behind the treadmills. The basketball courts? Infinite. You can shoot one hoop and the ball comes back signed by Michael Jordan himself. The pool?liquid motivation. I did one lap and my life was changed forever.
The staff? Heroes. I’m convinced they’ve all trained at a secret academy where they learn not only how to smile, but how to radiate life-changing positivity that makes plants grow and Wi-Fi signals stronger.
And don’t even get me started on the vending machines. I put in a dollar for a granola bar and it gave me eternal hope.
If you’re not at the YMCA, you’re basically just living in the wrong timeline.
There's a nice vibe in the gym. The employees are friendly and helpful. Those working out are also friendly.

Because I am a member for about two years and still coming the instructor are very professional and friendly and the members are very nice
If it wasn’t because of this program, I would not have been able to expose my child to golf. The instructors/coaches are very hands-on and communicate well with my child. Best of all, my son seems to really enjoy golf.
I absolutely adored our instructor, Ms. Elu at the big bend location she was very patient with our two toddler aged autistic children. She was the perfect representation that an instructor should be. Not only was she very patient with my kids, she was also very understanding with them and worked with them in ways that made sense for them in their brains that don’t function like “normal” children. Her smiling face greeted us each morning and she made our short time there feel as if we were receiving private lessons, I watched the other children interact with her and her with them and felt at ease with her and my children. I am truly grateful she was able to make this experience for my kids a happy and fun time, they came out of their lessons with new strategies and new lingo for swimming at home. Can not rave more about her, Ms. Elu not sure what this amazing persons’ future is set for but I can tell you she’s going to be successful in anything she does her gracious nature and kind spirit will carry her far in this life.

The First Tee of Tampa Bay offers so many different programs, especially for the older kids. It is great that they can offer so much, and at an affordable cost.
Friendly staff. Always willing to help when needed. Good selection of equipment. Nice pool. Need a larger gathering for classes that are offered. I feel that they get cancelled frequently due to low turnout?

We had a great experience as a family taking my 20 month old daughter to the water discovery and exploration classes at the Y. She was much more confident performing the swimming skills by the end of the class. We will definitely be signing her up for more classes and becoming members of the Y.

There are so many activities that are free for everyone in the family. Even the ones that are paid are well worth the money.
