Since you do not use carpet shampoo the carpet dries without a sticky feeling caused by retained soap. The carpet is soft not crunchy and stays cleaner longer. This is due to the lack of soap that traps dirt in the carpet fibers. I have a little Pomeranian that has done her business. So I am very happy that the carpet is sanitized and no smell.
