I like that it is close to our home, the employees interact with the dogs and keep them busy and the place is kept clean and Sanitary!!! I wish that the price of daycare was a little less money!

I gave Koda a bath on Friday and washed his crate bed the same day. I dropped him off on Saturday; for one night of boarding. The front reception area smelled like expressed anal glands. I mentioned it to the 4 staff members that were lounging around. No to be offensive but not one of them knew what I was talking about.
When I picked Koda up on Sunday morning; a woman told me she had to get Koda's bed wet, there was something on it. She placed it in a bag. It was soaking wet, water running from it when I pulled it out. Koda got in the car and smelled like urine and a kennel that hadn't been cleaned in weeks. The odor was overwhelming. His paws, that are white; were stained a yellow brown.
I went back in the reception area, that still smelled like expressed anal glands. I asked the woman what happened to Koda he smelled like urine and his bed soaking wet. She said he spilled his water on it. Before, she said there was something on it.
I came to Dallas for a wedding and had a 4 hour drive back to AR. The odor was terrible.
Koda is an extremely well trained Service Dog. He's a Medical Allert Dog, kennel and crate trained. He has a long list of commands he is trained to respond to.
I have used the Dogtopia facilities in Phoenix and the surrounding area for years and have never had an experience like this. I am also an Advanced Animal Care Specialist, a graduate of Walter Reed Institute of Research and Animal Medicine, Washington DC.
I was appalled at Koda's experience at this facility. This is a direct reflection of poor management and lack of Animal Supervision. I was unable to view their web cameras to check on him. I will not refer this Dogtopia to anyone and will follow-up with a Google review when I have the time.
I would like to know what actually happened to Koda while he was there.

Everything and everyone is amazing! From the welcoming Hello, clean facilities, cameras to watch both inside and out to the Good Bye at the end of the day. You always feel valued and appreciated. Plus, the dogs love it. And when the dogs are happy - we are happy
Dogtopia is a clean and welcoming environment! I wouldn’t trust just anyone with my fur baby. I love being able to log in to check on my pup when I’m away.

The people are phenomenal! They care about the pups and interact so well. The facility is kept clean. Rooms are open to view thru windows and phones. Lots of love and play time. My dog barks with excitement when I ask if he wants to go play with the puppies. The activities are adorable and creative. The dogs cannot possibly be bored! I love taking my dog there - knowing he is well cared for and loved. And I love that he comes home tired from all the action! The fact that they have a great groomer is an added plus for me

The staff and management are excellent and very understanding. My dogs are always excited to go for daycare or boarding and gives them great social time.
Super friendly staff! We are very confident in the care our pup receives. She’s been getting care at Dogtopia of Elsmere for about eight months and started out shy. Within two weeks, she found her place and so many BFFFs!!! Nail trim spa is such a bonus!

Extremely friendly and kind employees. They treat my dog the best and I feel very safe leaving her there when I need too.
The hours and staff are great! I love the spa services that are offered. Dogtopia Cranberry also offers different enrichment activities with the pups each month.
