Chris Casazza has been great to work with. He responds to my emails promptly and keeps me informed on progress for our travel trailer. That being said, I cannot give high marks for the service I have received. I had the front cap replaced on my 2022 Ibex twice due to cracks. The first was due to the manufacturer and the second to the team at general. That said, they did get it right in the end - the cap issues are finally fixed correctly. I have also had problems with the in unit heating system. The first issue was warranty work, the second was due to the service department not doing the work correctly, and the most recent repair, this week, the heating is not working. The tech came out and offered to track down the issue and because we planned a trip we decided to bring it back at a later date. Hopefully that too will be correctly fixed in the end. Although the service staff is polite and helpful, I would prefer to have the issues fixed on the first visit.
My salesman Andrew took his time to show us many units before we decided on the perfect rig. He was knowledgeable, and answered all our questions. There were a few issues when we went to pick up the 2023 Dutchman Yukon 412D. Between Mike in the service department, and Matt sales manager they went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. I wish I could remember the technician name, but he was very thorough, and corrected the issues in a timely manner. Definitely could tell they take pride in their jobs, and 100 % customer satisfaction is their goal. We definitely did not feel like just another number., more like family.
The Wife and I were at the Wixom Facility . Mike McIntire showed 7 to 8 , 5th Wheels . He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable . No high pressure . Building and Grounds and Rest Room Clean . Very Good Experience . I would recommend to Family and Friends .
Our salesman Brad Dechent was wonderful to work with. Very easy going and knowledgeable. Brad went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and found the right unit. He never made us feel like he was trying to sell us anything.
Jahannes Lexie in finance was outstanding. He was great at explaining everything to us and very easy to work with. These 2 guys made our whole experience and transaction easy and enjoyable.
During the purchase of our new 5th wheel General RV went above and beyond to certain everything was right and we were satisfied. It was an overall great experience.
I searched around for a camper for a while, have notnhad much luck or the best experiences. I ultimately purchased from General RV in Birch Run. The team was awesome!!! They stayed in touch, kept me informed, they were very fair about pricing, kept working with banks to get the best approval possible, and were absolutely focused in getting me into the camper I was looking for rather than just looking for a quick buck. I will definitely be returning and pushing others their direction.

It's located we're we are staying while in Illinois, which makes it easier to get repairs done. The repairs are done right.
I am a big customer service advocate. I work for a trucking company, the drivers are basically the representatives that the people see. I believe in treating people like people not a number. General RV in Wayland treats you with the utmost respect and courtesy. The one thing that you can do to get a bad review from me is to treat me like you don't care. I give general RV five stars on the service, Rich has always been wonderful to me and my wife. The service technicians have always completed the work, and if it's not quite right I bring it up to Rich we look at it again he makes a decision on whether we need to bring it back in to fix it or that's what the fix is. The guys at general RV and the service rep Rich do a wonderfully job!
