I really like the instructors and staff, but the space itself is cramped and closed in.
The whole experience!
Lots of classes throughout the day over various locations.
i live out-of-town (in Ottawa) and come to Vancouver a couple of times a year to visit family a week or so at a time. i go to classes at semperviva with my girlfriend who has a pass there. it would be very useful if semperviva would have 5 class passes (bc buying one class drop-in is ridiculous at $21 each but thats what i end up paying and not being very happy about it) without having to go into a contract situation. thank you. aeh
I enjoy the city studio space it is a good size, close to my home and the floor is nice to practice on.
The variety of times and styles available throughout the week that allow a student to practice pretty much any time of day and in a variety of easily accessible locations.

Better quality control on teacher hiring. Owner and or managers responsible for hiring need to be thorough in their hiring criteria and follow up with classroom check-ins to ensure quality teaching is being delivered. As a yoga teacher myself and yoga therapist in training I often times find some of the teachers' cues wildy unclear, flowery and unhelpful to the average yoga student. I also often notice a complete lack of teacher/student assists; these do not have to be hands on by any means if the teacher is not at a stange in their teaching where they are comfortable with offering hands on adjustments, but rather offer simple verbal direction to help students with basic alignment. I am reluctant to name names of the teachers in question so I feel that your staff must perform its due diligence in simply attending your teachers' classes from time to time to see if what is being offered feels, overall, safe, thorough, and clear to an average or beginner student. It is our responsibility as yoga teachers to put our students health and well being first and foremost. As it stands now I would recommend only certain teachers and I would not recommend the studio to anyone who is not an advanced practitioner or teacher themselves (who can presumably take care of themselves during their practice), and I certainly would not recommend it to anyone looking for a therapeutic or detail oriented classroom environment.
I will end though by saying that you also have some stand out teachers on your staff. And here I have no problem naming names of those whose classes I have had the pleasure of attending: Diana, Cameron, Jolene, Joanne, Nathalie, Whit.
Thanks for your time and I hope this feedback is well received.

Variety of classes, convenient locations, and cute slection of shoppjng in store!
Variety of instructors and the setting of the Sea studio.
I like the set up of the studio, the staff are nice but most of all, in comparison to some other studios i have tried, there is a very relaxed and positive feeling in the studio.
staff is great....many classes to choose from....locations easily accessible....
Professional, team is positive and confident
Conveniant location.
Lots of classes from early morning until evening time.
Range of Aries types of yoga classes.
have some classes with no or less music. have more classes from my favorite teachers like jolene and bernie.
Everything! Great classes, great teachers, very friendly and helpful staff! :)
I'm currently signed up to the 10coupon re-bill system. I'm fine with it being charged once I use up my 10 tickets but would love an email ahead of time for notification that my card will be charged. Also I was sent a $25 gift card because it was my membership anniversary. Would be great if that could be applied directly to my account as I now have been billed for 10 passes and also have the $25 gift receipt not used.
Teacher and class were great (mom and baby). But service could be improved by providing more offers for loyal customers, rather than new people only. I find it very expensive, considering the class sizes are so big! Also, received incorrect information about my pass (10 pass) and its automatic renewal , from staff.
$16-20 drop-ins are very frustrating.
I am a spiritual male and I want to do running, hiking, martial arts, weights AND yoga as part of my journey. I want quality yoga instruction like that I received (The class I attended was the best I have been to), but it just isn't worth the money to attend Semperviva once or twice a week.
$16-20 drop-ins are very frustrating. I can workout for $5. Monthly workouts can be less than $1 a day. There are meditation classes by donation. And for the same cost of yoga I can do martial arts. Yoga is not as complete of a physical or mental discipline as quality martial arts.
A good Yogi will facilitate commitment, as Semperviva does with its "unlimited" packages. For me to do enough yoga to 'get my money's worth' from a monthly pass, I would probably over-train or not have the correct training balance. I wish I could find quality affordable drop-in instruction in North Burnaby.
Everyone who works for semperviva is unbelievably friendly and inviting! Great place for beginners!
Have better temperature control
