I love Semperviva however find the location at Broadway and Trafalger disappointing. The last time I went the studio smelled bad and I had to move mats because of the huge ants.

Although i love the variety of times offered for the classes, I still feel that the cost is very high, even at the unlimited monthly rate.
I like the sense of community that some of the teachers are able to support and manifest. I like how approachable and genuine the front staff are! There is a class for everyone at semperviva. I always bring my friends hoping that they buy passes and can join. I do have one comment...There is a male teacher who does not let students from the incoming class go into the studio until the class that just finished are 100% out of the room. I find that it gets so congested in the front area with both classes flooding the ara (which is okay because you are able to chat with the semperviva community!) The only thing that relives the congestion for both the incoming and previous class is that the room becomes open when it is finished. I find the teacher can be touchy and borderline rude about his preference to not allow incoming students in. I really had to use the bathroom and he still wouldn't let me in. I found it so uptight and very un-yogi like!

I Love all the Hatha classes offered and I love all my Instructors! I almost always go to the Sun Studio.
The reasons for your low score:
a) your approach doesn't include sufficient time focusing on correct posture, alignment and how to properly move your spine, use your core and hips to get into poses without injury. I think the classes are quite high risk; and the classes are so full!! I would only recommend your classes to someone who has a strong foundation in yoga already, and who can self-regulate so they don't injure themselves. I wouldn't recommend to anyone who is still learning.
b) to make it right you need to alter your approach so that the classes are smaller, and train your instructors about spine health and proper movement, so they can make adjustments to people in the class. Look around the classes: you'll see that most people don't have proper alignment, and are twisting themselves poorly to get into the poses. Long-term people may suffer as a result of poor yoga execution, which isn't what you want.
Sometimes I find it a bit warm. Overall, it is OK.

Not the best airflow in there...don't have prenatal yoga right after a sweaty yoga. Try to plan it after Hatha!
The front desk people are friendly. I do really like Peter as a yoga teacher He is calm does not play distracting music. Danny as well, when he was at the front so lovely, friendly warm man. He is also a wonderful yoga instructor
Good space, mostly good teachers, clean
I love the attitude, friendliness and helpfulness of the front desk staff. I love the studio itself. I enjoy many of the teachers. I enjoyed the boutique store.

Your classes are embarrassingly over packed ... it's actually unreal... it's the reason I'd never fully invest in your company... it literally takes away from the whole concept of yoga even though your instructors are great. Also the shared 'changing rooms' and lack of showers

The space is very nice. I like that yoga mats are there already. I liked when there was an orchid by the entrance too.

Your location, the hours for vinyasa and most of all clara's classes. Not sure if I'd continue if she wasn't there. Her adjustments are so helpful and her classes inspirational, challenging and dynamic.
