Challenging classes.. Caring, sensitive staff
I'm a little confused about all the mats already spread out on the floor. I have never seen this practice in a yoga studio and wonder how you ensure asepsis. I chose to find an unused place on the floor, however there was very little space available. Once the class started I realized there was a lot of unused space that was being occupied by empty studio mats. Again, I find this practice confusing.
upgrade or regulate the air circulation instead of using air conditioning plus opening windows and doors to filter in fresh air.

All the instructors I've encountered so far (3) have been really good. Even when one of the instructors was teaching in a way that is not my preferred style (long holds in the poses) - she noticed that I was struggling and gave me modifications. I like that the spaces are defined for us by having the mats there - but I have no desire to use the studio mats and would prefer if the spots were just defined by tape or paint - and keep the studio mats at the back with the other props.
Welcoming and helpful faces at the desk. Friendly, effecient. Kudos to Amanda! Completely what one would hope for in the context if a yoga studio! By the way, i did bring a friend to try out a class, and she truly enjoyed it.

The Sun-Center Studio can become very crowded, hot and odorous, especially during 40 day challenge. I realize it's difficult to limit the number of participants since it's drop-in, but I've, on occasion when it's been extremely crowded,have walked out and not taken my class.

The instructors! Especially Tina James, Bernie Clark and Coco Ferrari. Overall unpretentious atmosphere.

Location, view, easy parking,great teachers. And the new cubbies and benches are great.
BUT not enough washrooms, poor placement of cubbies with all the equipment, blankets, foams etc - should be just inside the door on the leftso it's easy to get to withoout having to walk over a bunch of mats, bump into people coming and going etc etc. In fact, why not encourage people to pile up their equipment neatly next to their mats so the next lot of people can use it? Would be Much more efficient for all - it can get pretty crazy between classes. Why not try it and then get feedback and see what people think?
Love the space but it seems a little tired. (Carpet) also liked it when you sold some things there. Especially with 1/2 moon gone, there's nothing on the island.
Just a note- was a little surprised you offer no discounts for classes to students enrolled in teacher training.
Friendly staff, beautiful studios, amazing and friendly instructors, frequent classes.
Sometimes this studio in particular smells. I don't find it an issue at any other place.
Convenient times, different locations and all teachers are unique but all knowledgeable and, well, good.
You offer a variety of yoga classes with a variety of teachers. As well, the staff are very pleasant & helpful. Your rates are also super reasonable!
