I’m sure I’m one of the few women that go to Sport Clips. I have a stylist there that just knows what to do with my hair and I’ve been going to her for about almost a year now and I will continue. She’s in my contacts in my phone. Her name is Linette and I love how she takes care of me thank you and thank Linette.
I’ve been going to Sport Clips for about 10 years now, and Mel has been cutting my hair the entire time. She always does an amazing job, pays attention to detail, and makes sure my haircut comes out exactly the way I want it every visit. It’s hard to find someone consistent for that long, and Mel has always been professional, friendly, and reliable. Highly recommend asking for her if you want a great haircut and great service!

I usually always get my hair cut here and have gotten it cut by many different people. I’ve only provided poor feedback with one other person that cut it before. To be honest, if I gave feedback every time I got it cut, my reviews would be mostly a 5 or less. There’s only one stylist that cuts it and I would give it a 7 or 8. I think she drives a red or maroon suv or crossover and usually has her hair colored and maybe is a natural redhead in her 30’s. I think she’s usually around the 2nd chair on the right. Spryng cut my hair yesterday and it was my typical experience with her. Here’s an example of how my usual experience goes. I sit down, she says what I got done last time and if I want the same. I say sure and she begins. I say, sorry I’m a bit sweaty, I just came from work (wearing pants and polo) and my AC on our black car is out so I had to drive across town in the hot car. Instead of saying something like, oh you’re good but that’s terrible your ac went out. She just says, with this kinda of attitude tone, well I drive a black car with no ac and it takes me over an hour to get to work everyday soooo”…like okay? I’m sorry, I wasn’t saying it to brag so idk why you’re replying with a bit of sass as if you’re trying to one-up me..then she starts cutting and usually she does an okay job this time when she gets to the top it’s just rushed feeling. Anytime I bring up the idea of wanting to do something different she usually responds by trying to overwhelm me with her knowledge of haircutting as to why it wouldn’t look good or why it can’t be done when I’ve literally cut hair before and have been getting this cut for like 20 years. Regarding most stylists except for that one, the poor feedback is because they will ask at the end if it looks okay and it basically feels like a formality where, they just want the answer to be yes or else their body language gets annoyed even tho I’m making them go back and fix a problem that they created by giving such a poor cut. So

My hairdresser was excellent and cut my hair short the way I asked her to and she was so friendly
I booked a stylist available in four minutes. When I arrived 8 minutes later, she was not available for 24 minutes. So, I used an earlier available stylist who did not follow previous notes of earlier haircuts. Again, I received a haircut shorter than I wanted. Yes I like MVP so I will try again.

Have been driving to Tampa for years for hair cuts and decided to stay local. Nervous about some new place but Savannah was amazing. Great hair cut, exactly like I needed, and made the experience very enjoyable. Prices are very reasonable and how it's managed there is very efficient. Great to find a quality place with good prices for any service in the Lakewood Ranch area but Sport Clips has both. Highly recommended.
