Just a great gym to workout at I've been a member almost since they open, if you want to workout that's where you want to be.
The size and the people. No matter what training level you are at, there is no feel of intimidation.
I enjoy that there are SO MANY varieties of workout equipment, enough room and space to work out, and machines are quickly repaired. I love the 24 hour availability during the week. I enjoy the friendly front desk staff. The only thing I would recommend is adding more plates and dumbells. I have to walk all over the weight area searching for plates or waiting until someone is done on a machine to take the plates off of their machine. Since I've joined Powerhouse Gym in Novi, I haven't been to any other gym.
Showers could use some HOT water. Classes are great
Everything is clean , staff is friendly .
The place is cleaned with soap and water on a daily basis. Not only are the bathrooms washed, but the equipment on the floor as well. Having belonged to many gyms throughout my life, I can tell you that is not typical. In this respect, The St. Clair Shores Powerhouse is a stand out.
The front desk is also well attended and there is plenty of equipment, so waiting for a machine is not usually an issue.
