Already submitted the positives, I thought there would be room for suggestions. I am a loyal Santikos and Embassy attendee. I appreciate the new smaller popcorn and soda option. Great for those of us who don't want as much as even the "small" size contains.
Now the suggestions: I really don't understand the reserved seat rationale. My experience so far has been that it just slows down the ticket buying process while uninformed customers try to make sense of the seating chart and make a decision. I don't see how the customer benefits at all. Maybe there is some benefit to Santikos that I fail to understand.
Next, I believe you should rethink your online ticket strategy. I don't buy tickets online because I don't want to pay the extra fee, from any theater. You should want to encourage online buying; it saves you labor and paper supplies. So why should the customer pay extra for something that reduces your costs? I know, everyone does it. It's the Ticketmaster mentality. I would rather you price your tickets appropriately and not add additional fees. Have you considered that maybe you would increase your market share if you offered online ticket purchases at no additional costs? Why would someone need to use Fandango or others if you didn't charge?
I understand there is a cost for the website, but that is largely a sunk cost at this point and is still, no doubt, cheaper than paying hourly wages to ticket sellers.

I love your theaters, especially Embassy, and will continue to attend regardless of your actions on these ideas.

The customer service is always exceptional. My son and I visited recently and the popcorn didn't taste right. I took it back up to the counter and the manager gave me a refund. It is because of the great customer service that Santikos is my theater of choice.

I like the refill station close by and the seats are comfortable. The assigned seating is a problem though - takes too long in line and sometimes hard to find the seats.

The 4-6 special prices, especially rates for families, free refills, great customer service, the theaters and restrooms are always clean, and the friendly atmosphere. My sons and I truly enjoy our fun family time at the Embassy theaters and eagerly wait for each new releases.

It was very busy and two managers came outside to let people know they could sell tickets inside. Once the lines had been worked down, one of the managers ended up selling concessions. All of the staff remained patient and friendly despite some grumpy customers. I have always had a pleasant experience visiting Santikos Embassy Oaks.
