We are trying to come to terms with the cost. They have more than doubled which I know everything has done almost that.

The rep was not an issue. The problem with proceeding was on my end. It was determined that I required a custom product. Prohibitively expensive.
Matt came out on Friday 9/29, said he could have the quote to us in 30 minutes. Then said he could have it to us by end of day.
It is now Thursday the next week and haven’t heard a word

My estimator was very professional and I learned a lot from his evaluation and our discussion.
To be honest, I am very shocked at the total cost of this project. I had guessed about $1800 to $2200, not $3900. I can't afford to pay the $3900 outright.
Maybe it would benefit me to break the project down into more affordable tasks.
The measuring person was rude and the price I received was a super high go F yourself price. I don’t appreciate that. I talked on the phone and knew it was going to be expensive. I had photos. Someone could have told me over phone and email that the window was going to cost over $3,000. Instead, both parties are now frustrated. You had the opportunity to demonstrate value. Instead you said “I don’t care about you”.

Woodland set the expectations high when it came to responding to our needs, providing a timely quote & sending out a professional to quote our project. The only reason we didn't go with woodland is because of pricing. Unfortunately you were $8K more expensive. We decided to go with another company.

Between the vague quote with ambiguous language and being told that my old growth oak interior trim "needed to be replaced, there's no way to save it" there is zero chance I would entertain any further discussion. Please do not contact me anymore.
Price was double competitors

Yes , my sliding dining room door to my enclosed porch was not closing and getting stuck in its track. Mr. Howard B…. Said Anderson Co. was no longer in existence and the rollers could not be obtained. Therefore he recommended replacing the Anderson. He asked for a money deposit of $2300.00. Since then, afew days later my wife found a thin plastic medallion in the door track. She removed it. When I came in she told me to try the door. It moved freely. I phoned Mr. Howard about the door and no need to replace it. I had declined his request for $3000. For the measurements earlier. Now he refuses to refund my $2300 deposit saying I would only receive about $500 back because I signed the contract to replace the sliding door. As of today, August 19th I have not heard from him nor received any refund from my $2300 deposit.
