Although the move has not taken place as yet, I am very impressed with customer service team so far. Thank you
First the estimate to pack was 2 hours, it took 5, an extra $1000, should have estimated better.
Second the move time was moved from 9am to 1145 am and we were not notified and we had a 7 hour drive after the movers left. My husband did not get in to the our destination point until 2am. They only moved the contents of the apt, they needed a second truck to move our storage shed, the back yard and garage contents and did not have a second truck. The storage shed, back yard and garage were all listed on the initial contract and verified with Alyssa Friday 12/10/21. Of the 3 packers that came, Rachel was a packer/mover, she did a walk through of the apt, back yard and garage before and after packing, then a walk through of the storage and deemed ready to move. She did not verify with Meathead movers they were bringing two trucks. The movers arrived and realized they needed two trucks and did not notify Meathead movers that a second truck was needed. Two opportunities missed to avoid this epic failure and did not do this according to the office, however my husband heard Elijah on the phone telling someone this should have been a two truck job. They scheduled a new truck for 12/21/21 and they are charging me $2800 for the “second move” and every person Ive spoken to admitted it was their fault. I should not have to pay for your failure, they did not complete the initial contract. So I have the best of 3 bad options, hire a new moving company for the remainder, move it myself or have them finish the job and pay for it under protest. I will not waste one moment to tell everyone what horrible service I’ve received and will advise others to not consider using Meathead movers under any circumstances. hidden charges, broken items, didn't get everything moved that was suppose to get moved, the mover's only jogged when they saw me, didn't put together a bed frame, damaged a foot board of one of the beds, left trash in old home and new home like plastic that cover's the mattress. Stood right next to me and told me to fill out the survey and put down a gratuity. How was I suppose to be honest when the employee stood right next to me? I didn't put down a gratuity.
The men that you sent were very professional and proficient. They worked extremely fast and very efficiently. They were friendly and actually seemed to enjoy their job.
The workers were able and businesslike. And on time.

My first move with Meathead Movers on Nov. 11, 2021 was wonderful!
All furniture was wrapped and blanketed properly. Everything was delivered in perfect order. The crew was hard working and fast! The move was completed in the minimum time.
I highly recommended your company at that time.
My second move on Dec. 4th, 2021 was a very poor experience.
My expensive new bed from Pottery Barn, was severely damaged.
I asked that the furniture be wrapped and blanketed as it was the first move.
Movers DID NOT wrap my bed at all & placed only 1 blanket in the middle of the headboard, leaving the sides & top of bed exposed.
Headboard and sides of bed were cut into by some metal object, gouged, scrapped, dented, and discolored.
The wooden legs and feet of the bed were not wrapped or blanketed and were thrown on the bottom of the truck, diagonally crossing each other.
They were also damaged and cut up.
Since the first move had no damage at all, I expected the second move to be the same and only purchased the minimal insurance as before.
I was given a discount in the amount of $275.00 on my bill to compensate me, which I appreciated.
However, I had to purchase a new bed, due to the damage in the move, which cost me $1233.81.
The negligence of the second moving crew, my ruined new furniture, and the expense to me are the reasons I would not use Meathead movers a third time.
I could not recommend the company to anyone after this experience.
Movers were communicative, friendly, flexible and finished the job within the expected timeframe. They left the space clean and placed furniture as we requested. Michelle was very helpful in scheduling services and answering any questions I had about the contract.
The movers didn't arrive on time which made them start late. The were not prepared as I explained that we had a total of two stops that we needed to do. They sent 4 movers and who seemed like they have never moved heavy furniture. The staff at my office started helping move boxes to help because they just weren't moving fast enough. One of the Vice Presidents had to let the movers know that we are on a time crunch and we need to get moving. MeatHead Movers sent out 2 additional mover to assist. There was damaged furniture that was broken and so far no one has reached out to me to about it. The movers were even complaining on how heavy the items are while moving them. For the amount of money we paid for the move, this wasn't a great experience.
The entire experience was amazing. From the beginning, Briana Abac handled the order to the three young men who came to pick up and deliver the items we had moved. I would give all of them 5 or more stars. Thank you very much.

We felt that the crew was just trying to meet the no later than time frame. When I met with them before the start of the move the time frame was laid out as 2.5 hours to load 1 hour to drive and 1.5 hours to unload. My phone quote was for 3 hour minimum and not to exceed 5.5 hours, and from the start I knew there was no way I was going to pay anything less than the not to exceed price. One of the movers needed to use the bathroom several times during the move, and when we finally asked him not to use the bathroom in the new house he basically stopped working and stayed outside. At least 30 minutes of the time was spent looking for misplaced hardware for our kitchen table which that same mover couldn't find. There was damage to one of our pieces of furniture, but I was able to get that resolved with a phone call. Hopefully we will not be moving any time in the near future, but we most likely will not be using Meathead Movers.
Great service, great communication, and a positive team that runs from truck to house. Meathead is the best!
Have used your services multiple times over the years and have referred your services to multiple clients, unfortunately this experience was like no other. The crew was lazy and never ran between loads, was apparent I would be at the maximum from the start. The crew leader had no control over his crew, they missed an entire bedroom and then had to cram it in at the end. Went to do a walk thru after the crew lead said they were done, found the entire bedroom not even touched, they never opened the door. At one point the entire crew was just standing g around and there was more to load, I had to ask them if they were still on the clock and had to remind them I was paying by the hour. Sorry your company or at least this division is just not the same, you have lost that special touch you used to provide.

Meathead Movers communicated very well. We felt confident that they would show up on time and they did. Artie and Ben did a fantastic job moving heavy file cabinets and awkward shaped furniture up to the third floor of our apartment, which also has very narrow stairs. They were extremely careful and did not damage anything. They also assembled our furniture quickly and efficiently. We will use them on our next move.
The crew was extremely professional, on time, did everything needed and careful with the placement of furniture and boxes. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing movers.

Scheduler was pleasant and friendly 15 mins before closing. Athletes were beyond helpful and so considerate when my husband kept getting in their way. The 2 athletes worked so well together getting the job done. We were very impressed with their efficiency.
