I ordered a bicycle online and had it assembled at the Trek Villa Parlk store. The experience was great, the staff were helpful and friendly, and the bicycle is amazing. I rode over 11 miles home from the store and cannot wait to ride it again!

Kurt the service manager was amazing at handling my warranty issue. This shop got me a whole new frame latest generation for a chronic frame issue I'd been having. They went above and beyond even covering some parts that weren't supposed to be included. Would definitely recommend this store for work or trek related issues.

Customer service is still important at this location. After J and R Cycle retired and Trek took over the location I find several of the same employees there ready to answer my questions and do a quick tweak on my bike if needed. I don't shop for deals or lower rates when it comes to servicing my bike as I trust they are not trying to take advantage of me. I wasn't sure how long a tire would last as it had a small slice. They suggested replacing it and would do it immediately if I wanted. I did not have my credit card with me and told them I would be back. They offered to bill me instead but I opted to return. My only wish is that they had more women's gear though that probably isn't a big seller for Trek
My wife and I are relatively new to Trek bicycles (2-Checkpoint SLR-7s), we've had them for just under two years and have put a few thousand miles on each. The bikes feel perfect for the type of trail riding we do daily, and we would change nothing.
The unexpected benefit of owning Treks is the service we have received at both the Villa Park, IL and The Woodlands, TX stores as we have homes and ride in each city. What stands out is the consistency and reliability of each store despite being over 1,000 miles apart. Rather than transporting our Checkpoints when we transition from Chicago to Texas for the winter, we are discussing the purchase of two additional bikes so we can fly back and forth and still be able to ride in each location at any time of the year. Given the brand experience we have had with Trek, right now it looks like they would be Checkmates.
