Customer Testimonials
Name removed, very satisfied with Programs and amazing staff.
I love walking with the Senior Steppers as well as the exercise classes. I traveled to Scotland and Spain with the Allen Senior center. The trips were amazing. I highly recommend The Allen Senior Center!!
I love the people and the equipment.
Classes and badminton.. but would prefer a pool as well.
Great facility. Nice staff.
The Gym, water splash for my kids, the swimming pool and the service
Amazingly affordable, and plenty of equipment. Friendly helpful staff.
Only issues we have are members that sit on the weight machines for extended periods - need more reminder signs to ask people to get up between sets.
The Senior Center has alot to offer. I use the Workout Area mostly. We also have played in the Billard room before. There is also some Great Tea in the Cafeteria dining area.
I enjoy watching my kids swim and compete in meets
Both the gym and the pool
The Senior Center is a neat place with a pleasant, easygoing environment and wonderful people.
It was a great time. Enjoyed every minute. Met some great people.
Tai chi class for beginners is great!
Great facility. Staff member's are friendly and accommodating.
Clean and organized facility
Enjoy the friendly staff.
The equipment is top notch, everyone who works there is so nice and helpful. I would love to figure out some way to keep the cell phones out of the weight machine area. People are ridiculous. They sit on the equipment on their phone and don't START until someone asks to work in. OR they get on their phones in between sets. A LOT. Every single day.
i like the beginner-level workout classes and pickleball games. hope there would be more entry-level fitness classes and beginner dance classes.
The fact that I can go there and play pool or ping pong, maybe learn mahjong and have lunch in between
Yes
Having someone else do the driving!
The staff and the instructors were phenomenal!
Its a good way to find something to do other than staying home.
I love the center but would hesitate to invite more people because it is already hard to get in the classes I want. Love the people and the employees especially David! He is always so nice and friendly!!
everyone is always very kind and helpful.. I like the options. in the weight room and the classes they offer

Allen Senior Recreation Center is an excellent place for Seniors. It provides a variety of learning opportunities, fitness programs, travel events and more! It also brings together a sense of ‘family’ and ‘community’ where members feel welcome. The staff is friendly and supportive; always ready to assist when needed. I highly recommend this center! 🤗
