Technicians are friendly and professional - they have warm personalities and make a genuine effort to be helpful, including by anticipating where pest issues may come from.
The program is flexible - we've had to reschedule here and there and (1) I never have to wait more than a few minutes on hold (2) there's always good availability for when they can come by. It feels like a service that's designed to work for me, not something I have to plan my own life around.
Most importantly, the rate of pests in our house has decreased to almost zero since we started using HomeShield. We used to get pretty bad ant infestations, but haven't in a while (hope I didn't jinx it...). In short, the service does what it says, it's arranged to be convenient to implement, and the employees are a pleasure to interact with - what's not to like?
