Prompt service when I call
I had expressed concerns about my price per gallon I was paying for propane. A Customer service representative contacted me very quickly and was able to lower my price significantly and save me a lot of money. The representative was very courteous and I am happy with the result.
Easy to work with, staff u persuading and work with my schedule
I've been getting propane from Downeast Energy for 32 years. The service has been consistently excellent in every aspect. Each May I call Downeast to negotiate a fixed price for our propane, and each year they work hard with me to get us a fair price, usually below the market rate. This year Angie did some research on my account history and came up with a price per gallon that my wife and I couldn't believe was accurate. And the contract process was simple and done completely online. The propane delivery guys are friendly and professional, and they are conscientious with our property and vehicles in the driveway. Because we have a whole house backup generator, they are on call to ensure that we never run out of propane during power outages. The several times that our Polaris water heater needed servicing, the Downeast technicians were prompt to address the problem and our heater is still functioning optimally for the 32 years that we have been living in our house. Bottom line is that we feel very fortunate that there still are businesses that care about their customers and provide the energy that we need to maintain a healthy environment in our home. I love the budget plan, that the local office is nearby, that all my questions/issues can be answered over the phone. The ladies I speak with over the phone are so very nice and work very hard to explain/solve my questions. There's never, ever "wait time on hold" before a real person answers. Awesome!
Pricing on fuel is comparable to other vendors, service is excellent & timely, budget plan option is helpful, automatic filling of fuel is great.
