I have to always start with "I love my Trek bike". I ride every day, rain or shine. I recently had a bad experience trying to return a defective light and left a scathing review. The folks at Trek responded immediately and provided options to correct the issue. I now have an upgraded product that is working as advertised and a much improved image of Trek customer service. My only reason for not giving a full 10 rating and settling on a 9 is because it was difficult to get the initial contact but I would and have definitely recommended Trek to all my friends.
They had the exact part I needed for my 9 year old bike (a carbon seatmast cap with 20mm setback). The shipping was very fast and it arrived in perfect condition.
Trek is an excellent company with an excellent product. I've been a fan since I met the founders back around 1976 when they were just two guys showing off their bikes (mostly steel touring bikes) at a local meet / greet, and the only alternatives were Schwinn, Fuji and Peugeot....along with the $$$$ types like Cinelli, Masi and others...all unaffordable for a college student.
Fast forward 50 years and I finally purchased a Domane....and I love it. I've had several Colnago Super's, a Ciocc track bike, 4 Kestrels and a '73 Schwinn Paramount...along with an earlier aluminum Trek (5.1? I forget). This Domane is by far the best thing on two wheels I've ever ridden. It makes my 68 year old frame feel like it's 19 again!
As for the service.... Williamsburg VA Trek is perhaps the best bike store I've ever visited. They are super service oriented, extremely patient with customers (perhaps too patient with guys like me) and REALLY knowledgable. I've worked with Chris and David, both of whom have been outstanding folks to work with. Most of all Trek has a passion for bicycles and always has...I'll be a customer for the rest of my life, as I truly believe in you guys.

I ordered a bike from the Red Barn. Everything was great. The bike came quickly, very well packaged and assembly was s snap. The box even included a QR code for an assembly video. Sadly, although the footsteps were printed on the box for the bicycle happy dance, there was no QR code for an instructional dance video! Over all a great experience.

I have a vintage Trek & could not find anything about it; it would be absolutely awesome if you could have some sort of archives to find parts components details & replacement parts.

Good customer service when it came to my situation. However, I got the bike and the isospeed is making noise. There is some confusion as to who files the claim, the store says one thing, online another. Hopefully this is covered considering it went through the “151 point inspection”. I expect it will knowing how the customer service has been so far!
I generally like my Trek bikes and SRAM electronic gearing, but my Power Meter that came with my Madone 8 is not working and I’m having a lot of trouble getting help to fix or replace it.

Red barn refresh does a great job. Bike looked nearly new as advertised. Easy to follow assembly instructions and nearly dialed in all adjustments, just had to adjust derailer a couple clicks on the thumb nut.The tools are nice to have as well. Thanks
